QUOTE(moshpit21 @ Jul 21 2010, 12:41 PM) brand new Sapphire ATI 4850 is RM299 C-Zone price list is it good? or 5000 series is better than 4000 series? Added on July 21, 2010, 12:50 pmQUOTE(everling @ Jul 21 2010, 12:48 PM) The HD 4850 is a good bargain buy only if you don't mind the fact that it requires a decent PSU (450W or greater), it is hot and it is noisy. i am using 500W true power supply. QUOTE(everling @ Jul 21 2010, 01:12 PM) 5000 series is much better, but the 5000 series equivalent to the HD 4850 is the HD 5750 (available at RM 405). At RM 299, the HD 5670 isn't anywhere near as good performing as the HD 4850. That'll satisfy the power requirements. Added on July 21, 2010, 1:14 pmThe HD5670 is available at RM299 at Cycom. For me, I'd take the HD 5670, because I got fed up with hot and noisy GCs. Added on July 21, 2010, 1:20 pmA review of the HD 5670 and comparisons with the HD 4850: http://www.anandtech.com/print/2917HD 5670 is less heat and not that noisy? and also less consume power?

QUOTE(everling @ Jul 21 2010, 03:37 PM) And also less performance, except for Far Cry, in which it beats the HD 4850. But you should still be able to get it to do 1920x1200 on some games, and it will easily do 1920x1200 on a lot of older games. how about 4850? is it still a good card? it is hotter and noisier only right?

QUOTE(everling @ Jul 21 2010, 04:31 PM) Bro, go read the reviews, or at least the one I linked for you. I'm not going to do your thinking for you. thanks bro. i read the review you posted to me. those professional guys mentioned that in terms of performance 4850 bea 5670. i think i not that hardcore gamer but 4850 is cheaper than 5670. so i wonder if i buy 5670, does it support my purpose? those professional guy also mentioned that 5670 is good in terms of some addition features but only lose in performance. i really wonder which to get now.

QUOTE(JoBigShow @ Jul 27 2010, 08:25 PM) For that budget, you might want to think about the Radeon HD4850, I think for 2nd hand you can nego below RM300. But better get a new one with full length warranty, only below RM330 but you'll be satisfied with it for the next 2 years.. Any low-end 5 Series isn't worth that budget, plus you don't really need DirectX11 at the moment. Haha, I thought you gonna go for the 58 70? thanks bro.. i heard that some of the lowyat shop offer rm 299 only for this card? is this card hot and noisy?
