There's a forumer here bringing in FFXIV CE. He's taking preorder now. I wonder if this is a great news.

Not monthly, 30-days subscription,


A month can consist of 30 days, 31 days or 28/29 days (February), but ffxiv is fix 30-days subscription. So it does not consider as a monthly payment

Can't differentiate good or bad.
His price is lower but he can't seems to confirmed when it'll arrive.
It's only ETA which is 5days.
5days to his place or 5 days to our doorstep which i'm more interested in.

I remembered that SE mentioning FF14 stat system kind of like Ultima Online.
If they bring in Ultima Online's House placement system, it would be more marvellous XD.
Unfortunately no game come close to that except vanguard tried to implement that and many problem came out.

Mmm, actually got into the beta but the download is SO huge

How big is that file?

Luckily the Broadband I'm using downloads at 200kbs... 2gb file takes 2 hours.

from the way they group the classes, i have a feeling flayer will be sorta like blue mage. Remember quintis from ff8? /whip!!!

6GB IIRC. Beta was for the weekend, so I have no idea when the next one will be. Don't even want to get started on my PC not being able to handle it.

yeah monthly normally mean 30days
so i just wonder its count on playing hours or pay every month no matter you got play or not

i mayb will join too hehe

Final Fantasy is a different story. It has a certain quality.

I played FFXI way back in 2002, stopped and picked it up again in 2009.
It was still as refreshing as ever! FFXI has given me a "sense of achievement".
No other game commands you to do special quests to break the level cap, no other game pits you against your class to get the max level.


Aion has been a total horrible experience for me~ AND every game that revolves itself with PvP.
(Sorry, I've been through WoW, War, etc... all the same scenario, rebalancing skills took away the fun of the game, too much whines/cries/nerfs).

I already have enough "PvP" in real life, I dont need anymore playing my game

Is only on the release, what do you expect? rofl! wait for few months and im sure they will add more classes.

Nowadays we must hold back our "high" expectations - less disappointments
