Hi guys, is anyone using Philips Essential battens (TCH086) for cove lightings?

Any idea if the tube of one of the multiple battens linked together spoilt, will the other battens still continue to light up?

Hye, is it possible to install dimmer for T5 lights? I'm using T5 essential batten 21W & 28W. I come to this question since I read in the Philips website that T5 can be dimmable but have to install some ballast named "Mark 10".  Here is the website: http://philipslightingcontrols.com/mark-10-mark-7
*
yes, you can dim T5 using electronic dimmers, better check with the retailer for reliability
usually something doing with dimmer don't last LOL

Thanks. I guess so, maybe I should do a simple test by connecting 2 and take out one of the tubes.
RM22 for 2ft length.

What's the largest E27 light bulb can fit into a 4" downlight casing?
I'm currently using 2x 14W osram duluxstar compact over a fully frosted glass.
My living room has 6 units but its quite dim..

I've tried using a 20W bulb but it couldn't fit into the casing.

Hi All,
make sure you purchase parts that are stainless steel , instead of steel with chome finishing.
The latter will rust within a few years despite being indoor and kept dry.

See our lighting renovation blog here
