Went to Perfect Living yesterday and pay a deposit to secure the Fair rate with Tong Ging at Pudu.
Manage to secure the following with them,
Yet down light with 2 energy saving bulb including housing - RM 30 per set
2 pin PLC light bulb - RM 6 per piece
T5 - RM RM 16 per no (1 feet long if not mistaken)
How is the pricing?

Any one here deal with them before? Are they reliable?

I bought one from US apple store. It only for US because the power source is 110V. You need to have power converter.
*
I see. Than we shall just wait our version coming in.
According to Philip Singapore, they will bring in by a few months time from now.

I need recommendation for good dimmable light? Is typical downlight dimmable or do I need special bulb for that? How about wiring?
Need it for my bedroom
*
Easiest way is get those dimmable bulb with remote control. There is a topic in here which you might want to search for it.

Is it okay to use yellow light for T5 for lightbox but cool white for downlights at the same area?

Or both colour should be the same?
*
Not necessary to be the same.
I current set up is yellow light for T5 for lightbox and cool white for downlights at the same area.

yesterday i changed my CFL bulb to E27 LED Scene Switch (9.5w) from Philips. damn... so bright... but had to use adapter cause the previous light was the plug type (g something.

the bulbs come out of the ceiling a bit so not that attractive. but man... nice to have LED. no more wait few moments for the brightness to kick in and also no more flicker~ biggrin.gif maybe later i will change the housing when im rajin enough.
*
Frosted LED bulb, right?
Where you bought it, i am thinking to start using LED bulb as my down light bulb start to blow off 1 by 1 now.

i ordered from philips china during 11.11 actually. so was around RM19-20 only. and just bought it along iwth other crap. but i seen a shop in Ikano/curve bridge selling it for RM27 i think. and lelong got it too but i never bought anything off lelong so yeah... i dunno. heres the link. RM25.

http://www.lelong.com.my/philips-scene-swi...7-06-Sale-P.htm

i will say the brightness for the warm white is nice. for me its perfect. but for the white my wife likes it (dunno why. i feel like im in my office). im using 6 in my living room and at 9.5W its much brighter than my previous 13W energy saver.

QUOTE(imoogi99 @ Dec 23 2016, 10:24 AM)
Thanks for both of the links.
But i need those long shape type for my down light. This sphere shape 1 can not fit in the casing.

If your downlight is the std downlight casing, no problem for this bulb.
*
My casing type is those the bulb have to be installed horizontally not vertically due to limited gap between false ceiling and soffit of slab.

Can you modify and bend the socket angle down a bit?

So the round bulb escape the top reflection.

I m not sure how compact is it. But maybe can be done
*
Can not bend down as the is glass cover at the casing.

I am planning to install track lights in the living room and bedroom but I am slightly concern with the lifespan of it compare to the normal E27 downlights.

Any feedback on this?

What is the main purpose of your track lights?

Mainly for ambiance in the living room. I am planning to place them above the TV console.

As for the bedroom, I am planning to have them as main source of light. Hence, there might not be downlights at all.
*
Buy those LED type will last you long.
Above TV? Cause you plan to light up some deco on top of your TV?
In the toilet if you want to make it as main source, just make sure you do not buy those "concentrate" lighting type.
