Last option is to get a coring specialist, core through the mid of the beam. Likely u will core through the link but shouldn’t affect the integrity of the beam provided your core diameter is small, advisable 50mm or lesser. Main bars are at the top and bottom of the beam. Not practical due to high cost. Hacking or punching a hole through the beam using breaker or drilling hammer is a big no no. The vibration will affect the integrity of the concrete. Your call.

Hi guys,
I am looking for a wifi smart light that I can control away from home
Preferably value for money
Does this do the job??

yes can but how many of these you gonna put?
also remember that your wifi must always be on or you wont be able to control them with your phone
another way is to use smart switches instead of smart bulbs
The one in your sample picture uses E27 screw type sockets. There are not a lot of ceiling fixtures that takes this kind of bulbs, mostly table lamps
Also consider the lumens, it is only 450 lumens which is about a 40 watt incandescent bulb
There are also smart downlights like these available -

No difference in terms of installation? 'Double capped fluorescent' at the Philips bulb is not the same as what I thought dual fluorescent?

Hi guys, I'm installing track lights on my own, for those points with 5 wires (1 green, 2 black, 2 white), I just connect the black and white to my track light and it's working ok.

But for my bathrooms, it has only 3 wires - 1 green 1 black 1 white, I connected black and white to the light but it's not lighting up, any ideas?

I tested two track lights both are not lighting up, the wires are also showing electricity when I tested with test pen.

Thanks in advance!

Hello guys,

Need your advise here.

My contractor plan to install 18w LED downlight to all area.

1. Is the downlight placement okay?

2. What is suitable watt for toilet? I prefer to have hotel feel. Not too dim and bright.

Bedroom 1 needed another 2 nos 6 inch downlights

If you want hotel feel make sure the light bulb color temperature is 4000k or 3000k, the lower the warmer color
