bro, why bother bout oc w/ cpu multi while d board is capable of decent htt oc? could it be d ram that's holdin u back?

how many exhaust fan u have there in ya case? what case ur usin actually? mind to post ss @ load w/ hwmonitor? gotta check what are d temp for all components of ya board. c3 (not all thou but i can safely say quite a no) is capable of nice figure in oc.

Should be altogether got 3 fans. 1 blowing towards the cooler from the side casing, one with the cooler blowing towards back of the casing and another one located at the back of the casing blowing hot air out. theres another psu fan but i dont think that will affect much

what do you meant by c3?

I will try to change the multiplier to 18x and see the temp. If it exceeds 62, will anything happen? since the max for 955 is 62 degree

it's not a gud idea to put left as push, it is better off act as pull coz movin d hot air outta d case is more important than pushin cool air thru d cooler. same apply to top where pull will be better option instead of push. my 2 cents...

Perhaps have some problem with mounting later..

955be got 2 batch, one is c2 (earlier) & c3 (later). c3 offer higher mileage & lower volt @ same clock if compared to c2. 6x'C wont melt ya chip, so worry not, most likely just bsod/prime failure. u must watch out d vcore thou, coz d higher it is d hotter d mosfets will get, d ohtter d latter are, d easier they get toasted (if not actively cooled).

i know my drawin sucks sis, god has never been kind to me in term of art...

Then how do i see whether mine is c3 or c2? if let say it bsoded, so i just go back to bios and change to my best settings without system failure?

I've opened my casing, change its position to my desk (photos of my casing will be uploaded soon) and ran some stress test with 3.4GHz. Temperature were better than yesterday!


I think with this temp i can go around 3.6-3.8 GHz but must I keep my casing open? ><

what do you mean by checking with cpu-z? you mean oc to 3.6-3.8?

CPUZ basically states out your processor details, processor voltage, which revision, motherboard chipset info, your RAM info as well as your GPU info
