My CPU temperature already reached 45-46 with 15-20% of CPU usage with stock speed which is 3.2GHz. Safe for me to go further?

Ok..I try change the multiplier to 17x and run the test on all 4 cores..but which option should I use? the one that uses ALOT of RAM or the one that uses the least.

I chose the Blend option. Now stressing. System going on 3.4GHz and 56-58 degree now.

So I continue on stressing and increase the multiplier later? I thought the maximum temperature is 62 degree? ><
Edit: Is it >voltage <heat? Added on July 5, 2010, 6:55 pmStress for an hour, temperature never exceeds 59. Drop to 45-46 right after stressing. (: This post has been edited by clon12: Jul 5 2010, 06:55 PM |

for d moment, heat is d obstacle for u to achieve higher clock, load temp @ 59'c for a 3.4GHz spells something wrong w/ d coolin, either cooler or bad air flow.
on x4 b50 + hyper 212 plus @ push-pull & el cheapo biostar 790gx a3+, i managed a 3.5GHz w/ load temp @ 52'c (vcore @ 1.3v). voltage (vcore) wise i'm pretty sure u need < 1.3v for a 3.4GHz, not so sure how gud is d air flow of ya case but it'll affect temp for all components quite alot. do something bout it & then u can go w/ higher no. hyper 212+ should be able to handle up to 3.8GHz w/ gud air flow in ya case. |

I have already installed the Hyper 212 Plus fan towards the behind of the casing and installed another fan at the back to blow the hot air out. Another fan is installed at the side of the casing to blow towards the Hyper 212 Plus. All I could think of now is adding another fan on the other side of the Hyper 212 Plus making it dual fan.

IIANM Hyper 212+ works best when in an push pull config just like ah_khoo said |
