HAhah.IMHO, how can two people be a couple before being good friends? Good frens means u know each other well and are close to each other.If cant be good frens how to become a couple.. But of course..thats only certain ppl.U can have many good/close/best friends but doesnt mean u'll end up dating all of them...and to say that guys and girls cant be good frens is ridiculous.As mentioned by many,guys prefer to confide certain things to their female frens rather than guy frens and its very very true based on wat i know abt most guys.I myself have both close guy and girl frens..more fun lah.haha

haih... m'sians are juz not tat open enough to accept all these... tat's y they get attracted to each other... even in schools gals and guys hang out in diff places...

its always the trend what...guys and girls hang out in diff places...
the only place that guy and girl hang out in the same place is the classroom...lol
i guess becos friends would give embarrassment to each other when they go close to girls...and girls the same....

heck i would go around the whole school making friends...guys and girls...nerd tak mau...cos i just dont know how to comm with study freaks...

for me it depends... nerds are ok as long as study is not the only thing they know... i like war freaks, game freaks, car freaks and and computer freaks... they are nerds 2... so am i... but i not study freak... ppl say i look more like ah long...

when i was in secondary school i hang around wif every1... guys and gal... haha... the old days... although they call me godzilla last time...

behh la...i was in chinese school when i was primary...those guys group remain only for guys and girl group remains only for girls really appear there...
its hard to get a mixed group...cos all of the guys and girls hang out with their own kind when they have breaks...
really only study time u'll see mixed group...haha

I was in a chinese high school too and most of my friends are guys JUST because we share the same interests. I play games and watch cartoons like voltron, transformers etc. And many of my guy pals are today, still my guy pals.

Although, I have to say that it wasn't easy being the girl in the guy groups because you tend to get this "reputation" of being a slut etc etc. I remember once there was this rumour about me being pregnant by one of my indian guy pal (ironically, he discovered that he is gay few years later). It got so bad that my parents actually heard about it and questioned me whether I'm pregnant or not....although at that time I was still a virgin.. Shows how evil people can be.

some ppl can..some ppl cannot..as for myself..cannot means cannot..surely there will be this attraction thingy going on...if its not love.then its crush...

I have a best friend whom I've known for almost 5 years. Once I found myself having a crush on him, I confessed and he somewhat rejected. But hey, look at us now, we're still best buds.

shud be ok with me, i got gf for sure , and got a few 'best gurl-friend' also... and thats (80% my gurl, 20% freind )

Actually i don't see the problem guys being good friends with girls. I personally have a good friend who is a girl too. Just that one thing that we all have to bare in mind if our respect for the other party.

Normally it's the guy who fall for the girl or the girl who fall for the guy first?

Anyways, here's my case:

I have a lot of female friends, in fact, I actually mix more with female friends than male friends. But then, lucky got no feelings (of like) for any of them. However, there were times when I mixed with only one of them ... and we got kinda close ... and then I fell for her. But then I never ever said anything, just kept it a secret to myself. As days pass by, and we got into our big group of friends again, my feelings for her begin to vanish since we didn't get as close as before.

So, my conclusion is:

You can have many gals (or guys) as good friends, but it's really hard to have JUST 1 gal (or guy) as a good friend.

hahaha no laaaa,,, my best friend is d most handsome guy in college, and im definitely not ugly we just too close (also with both family) so dont wanna spoil this relationship anyway his not my type haha:blush:
