hmmm i didnt know 2 strokes dont have EO filter, mind to explain why?
are u bringing out your monster TZM on the tt??
2-stroke EO don't go to the block, just the gearbox. Imagine the same 1liter 4T only use for gearbox for 2stroke bike...
i was considering either one of the bikes... since both are running condition.

For chain cleaning, it's OK (IMHO) to totally clean the grease off and reapply new chaingel.
Totally clean it, means use laundry detergent + WD40, or even alcohol some may prefer, to remove the old 4T/2T/kicap that you previously put on the chain. I've done that quite few times. I use toothbrush + cloth to do the job.
Then, double stand the bike, let the tire roll slowly (engine run or use hand also can) to dry the chain.
When I clean the chain, I can touch it with bare hand also no grease/stain.
If you worry not dry enough, spray WD40 to remove the moisture, spin/wipe it off, then apply new chaingel.
For chaingel, majority big brand name like Silkolene or Motul is designed for O-ring, Z-ring or X-ring, about RM60 a can. Cheap ones ~RM18-20.
I used one of the cheap ones (written on the can designed in USA) but it doesn't last long. Chain will dry up very fast. Now I use Motul. This one leave in for ~30min to 2hrs to dry. It doesn't spin off the chain, but stick to sand and dust easily.
A friend of mine said Racingmate (Jln Dato Keramat) sell one chaingel for normal chains, I haven't try.
