QUOTE(charge-n-go @ Jun 23 2010, 04:01 PM) CDI got very good effect. It doesnt matter the engine can go beyond 10krpm or not. It boosts a lot of power even from midrange onwards. However, the condition is you have to get the engine tuned very well mechanically first. Carburetor, exhaust pipe and porting changes are part of mechanical tuning. Engine size doesnt matter here. tht's mean tht if want change cdi need an experience foreman to tune up all the things tht u hv stated.Added on June 23, 2010, 4:50 pm QUOTE(Aaron135LC @ Jun 23 2010, 04:17 PM) hoho.. just now i go telekom pay bill.. some one lc es.. number plate PHK ****.. his bike colour black with givi box like itsuki... guess wat.. i saw something shiny on his bike.. gd lor tht ppl rich guy use Yoshi exhaust with big caliper brembo.YOSHIMURA exhaust... QUOTE(alexei @ Jun 29 2010, 08:44 PM) Suggestion: Can you look for any shops that participate in Cubprix? Go to them, talk to your problem and see what they say. If the taukeh is not very helpful, and gives you the feeling that he's after your wallet, go to the next shop. New Bee Hock used to get trophies for their 2-stroke racebikes, hence the reputation... yeah agree with wht Alexei hv say, mostly the shop they just hired some foreman do the job nia. if major de will be sent to others shop 2 do it. hence u dunno wht happen 2 ur bike.A good shop usually only has 1 taukeh, and an experienced worker, both doing the engine works. Anymore will be the ones changing tyre, but not allowed to touch engine, usually. When you reach the shop, look around, if there are many bikes opened already, half way doing and very messy, don't stay too long. Chances are they might forget some screw or break something while trying to fix your problem. If the shop is run by a team of family taukeh, hiring a group of foremen who can fix almost anything, not so good also. This kind of shop, I usually just go to get accessories but not let them fix anything. If I ever have to, I'll stay and watch the foremen, talk to him tell him how I'd like my bikes fix. This is how I explore new places looking for trustable workshop. Hope you find them in Ipoh, too. |
