welcome CyberSundayz & Matmoto.
@matmotor, looks like you watched Avatar also... haha

guys, today i hit a pothole and my rims both front and rear each broke one spoke, damn canggih! I actually saw one of the spoke flew up in front of me onto the road ahead. Now, left 9 spokes each and still can jalan.

Brand: MZM aluminium sport rims.
Verdict: Not very good against pothole.

Lesson, don't ride too slow and hit pothole, rim will break. I think if ride fast enough, I'll just hover over the hole.

eh... If I change the chain only.. without change sprocket.. ok ar..?
*
If sprocket still good condition, it's ok.
When the chain goes in, it should surround the sprockets tight. Pull the chain secara tangent away from the sprocket should not lift the chain...

haha, with that extra kg around the rims, I bet now your cornering damn steady...

This is new to me. I know last time there is similar product for cars also, but no need put extra layer inside one, just connect to tire valve and empty the pressured container into the tire can already.

Normally, I bring along those aerosol cans that fixes tire puncture when I go long distance.

One more thing, anyone wants the G-Power plug, can bring you all to the shop this Sat. I sold the 2 plugs I have to my friend liao...

Heard of slip? Bee Hock sent the engine to a foundry in Butterworth to do it. No power increase, just some reliability enhancement while maintaining high compression ratio tongue.gif

btw, I can't join the TT liao, no bike to join sad.gif

QUOTE(Hiruka @ Jul 22 2010, 10:32 AM)
Guys can i wash the chain with brush and applied some soap on it? Sure the oil/lubricant will washed out right? Then just put Chain lube/spray? Any recommended brand/type? Gonna find one..

Apply EO such a messy for a whole rear tyre..1st ride gonna splash all the dirt like hell..i think will ask the foreman not to applied any EO when they service my bike doh.gif sweat.gif
*
normal chain oil can..but chain oil with special additive(like teflon) will not wash out..only kerosene, chain cleaner can clean it..avoid petrol since it will damaged ur o-ring/x-ring/z-ring chain..

QUOTE(Hiruka @ Jul 22 2010, 11:04 AM)
I know the logic, but the messy really annoying and those oil will still stand for a long time until the tyre spinning to splashed it out..huhu doh.gif

So bout my main query, is that OK if i wash the whole chain with Soap and brush? I need recommended Chain Lube as well that easy to get around..maybe i can reduce my rear oil dirt messy with this sweat.gif
*
normal bike can go for motul road..it is ok to go for than brand since u will not reach 180Kmh anyway..
about splashing at tyre..means u have put ur chain lube the wrong way...

QUOTE(Aaron135LC @ Jul 22 2010, 12:38 PM)
and about chain.. my chain also.. the lube all splashed to my rims.. hehe... only way is to let it splash puas2.. then go wash bike.. wash the rims.. i always do that.. but now my rim also splashed..

and i going to wash it later d.. use the wash clothes soap.. make sure that soap don enter ur brake.,. cause it will make ur brake sound.. my brake until now got sound d.. damn annoying.. LOL..

cant fix it even tho i keep braking.. FK nia.. LOL

Added on July 22, 2010, 12:45 pm
fcci is wat.. mind to explain.. i din heard before the brand..but i got google search.. its imported from thailand specifically for drag bike..?
*
if it stop splash to the rims means there only a little left chain lube on ur chain which i usually ask.is there enough?

FCCi is from thailand that specially for drag bikes..i'm trying for durability..so far i try clutch plate..quite good..
later i show how i apply chain lube..the correct way..

wow, nice. Not the std block, I hope?
will the new sleeve have surface treated or polished? just curious, no experience in this one.
Just a thought, do you need to use RON97 for the high compression?
