guys, any backup software that does not require me to root? the titanium backup require me to root first before i can backup. wat the heck?!
*
try mybackup pro.. kinda pointless though if backup without root because the data is not fully backup.

anyway, why you dont want to root? you could always reflash to stock rom whenever you want to sent back for warranty.

Good thing that guy is just a hoax smile.gif

Anyway, it's very unlikely that Moto will abandon the 2.2 update. The recent leaks are almost fully complete with awesome battery life etc. Why would they abandon it at this stage?

I use SMS Backup & Restore app.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.r...MSBackupRestore
It's works perfectly for me, it restores all ur sms n thread accordingly smile.gif Don't try SMS BACKUP n2manager as it screws up the threads

U guys should try Titanium backup for restoring game data, or for any other app for that matter (fyi, for sms it only backup settings, not the smses). I use Titanium for this when wiping data/doing fresh install of ROM and it does its job well. Game highscores, progress, settings etc. all get restored
