-If cannot update to Froyo, means cannot install apps on microSD, then is the onboard 133MB enough for apps ah?

my Milestone suppose to be European set, since the firmware configuration ver stated "GAS_EMEA_USASHL..."
does that mean it can receive Froyo earlier than other regions? This post has been edited by dattebayo: Oct 5 2010, 05:38 AM |

I have used the OpenRecovery v1.44, followed the instruction to extract the "OpenRecovery" folder as well as update.zip file inside the downloaded ZIP file to the root of SD, the recovery menu can load, but I can't seem to access the 2.2.1 fix, it just stuck there forever after I select on the "Launch 2.2.1 Menu"

another question, if already flashed to GOT 2.2.1, and next time when the official Froyo released by Moto, and I would like to flash to the official one, will it erased all the existing apps and data again in my phone? just like flashing from 2.1 to GOT 2.2.1
