im not lucky yet to get update 02.36.
mine is GB set. always late GB set to get the update..hehe lazy to flash manually as bz rite now. if i later update non service version, will it delete all the install program and contact in MS? i think want to get fresh new installation as free space currently low as i install and uninstall program. i want to ask, do android totally remove all file if we uninstall a software or still leave the folder and some file in internal memory ? how to check the leftover file and can it be remove? can use android-sdk-windows to do that? as i use to install the DroidX boot animation using android-sdk-windows way. |

hi , i wan to ask, anyone using G.O.T method to root the milestone ?
if using GOT method, do we need to install vulnerable recovery 90.78 Bootloader first? then use the GOT openRecovery to root ? |

seem a details step to do rooting.. but the 1st step is to install vulnerable bootloader first?

its mean if i flash the update.zip from GOT, then no need vulnerable recovery anymore.
but our fren maresh88 said he cant start flash GOT file without the vulnerable recovery. very confusing now  as i read many tutorial already. TQ sanosizo for a clear step to boot the phone at 1st step to start using GOT filewill try later if cannot tahan to root  |

like that.. so im also want to backup 1st the stock firmware.
if anthing wrong happen, can get back stock firmware. maybe later can try as now still satisfied on unroot. later shared your experience rooting MS use GOT with me k. what others feature in GOT that seem to be nice to try  |

seem digi got issue here..hmm.need to try n error like WLFung advice.
last time on maxis also no issue to send MMS. i also go DiGi service to check out. seem all OK and the setting is right. maybe try to restore the APN default settings and give a try. seem our phone is not 'famous' here. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- update : after restore the APN default, then set again the APN , mms can be send easily. no sweat tq WLFung This post has been edited by under18: Jul 27 2010, 01:15 AM |

anyone tried to charge using in car charger?
i just try with normal in car charger + moto cable, and its not charging. do need to buy ori motorola in car charger? |

Borsch Soup : i had tried and works fine. can root and unroot easily.
now can take screenshot and underclock my phone. to save more battery  maybe this is the easy way to get full access without changing the original file and its very2 easy for me. |

edmundlah try to uninstall unused apps..
clear email cache at setting > apps > manage apps>menu>filter> all clear cache for email or other apps like browser etc... it will free some space. |

hi all
want to ask, how to update the latest firmware using OTA ? i click system updates, it say your system is currently up to date. as my MS still SHOLS_U2_02.31.0 and its GB version. i heard almost of us got SHOLS_U2_02.36.0 rite that fix some bug. i cant get SHOLS_U2_02.36.0, how about Froyo later ? still can get the update OTA? or need to change my network to UK network and get it downloaded OTA? |

yes..just now im checking, actually no update for GB.latest only SHOLS_U2_02.31.0.
SHOLS_U2_02.36.0 - Release expected in August. now? sept already. no news.. but u can try a beta build from GOT for GB. SBF:milestone page |

MYstombox, i also encounter prob with lancher pro.
always force close; cant do anything..hehe maybe need a big memory to handle lancher pro. maybe can try overclock a bit like 720Mhz..more smoother and battery life seem OK. no issue for heat by now.apps response more smoother but launcher pro still force close sometimes. |

not sure for ROM , but u can try GOT version that have some modification on look and duno its stable or not.never tried it.
make sure make a backup first as per recomendation for restoration if something happen. you can ask otai2 here about GOT version as some otai had tried it. |

Arrrgh..my camera not working.on camera just got black screen.
after snap photo also black picture. this happen after i update ota for latest 0.36 UK version. Any others forumer update GB Version got this issue? |
