QUOTE(beggarmaster2000 @ Nov 8 2010, 10:14 AM) its the cheap power filter caps....it cannot charge and discharge properly. people who don't know electronics will tell you need to warm up, blast first etc. if you crack up the volume louder and teh sound will break if i want to replace my power filter caps with better brand, should i use bigger capacity (uF) with same V or same uF same V?modern day ic amp doesn't need warm ups unlike tube amps. its start and go. the higher the value, the longer it needs to charge up. but its not the value need upgrade its the speed. you change it to a more reputable brand with low esr. |

What i thought is that the electron moves faster on higher temperature, that causes the solid state amp needs some warm up to get good sound....has the similarity to CRT that has heating filaments.
I need to do some sourcing again.... |

I see. i go to his webpage (jimmy) and read the comments section, jimmy himself mentioned basically just replace with the same values of F and V. i will look into this later, probably next mth. i'll keep in mind for panasonic for the brand to look for. thanks.![]() then again, you guys are all insane here and want an overkill for even your cheap sets. =) glhf |

QUOTE(power911 @ Nov 8 2010, 08:59 PM) not electrons, it's particles Electrons....it is like moving much freely in higher temperature. Like the vacuum tube, it is vacuum inside and once the tube is hot, thermionic emission happens, the electrons fly in vacuum to other polarity plate.particles move fast when heated that's why solid, liquid, gas is formed tbc on the electronic side, chilling things down reduces resistance and conductivity increases woots woots, off topic XD Isn't that chilling things down reduces resistance and conductivity is applied to conductor only? it is like the particle bonding is closely packed resulting better electrical conductivity.... Out topic a while nevermind one hehehe I'll test out some caps and other mod on my m3300 amplifier part....someone will said i'm too overkill |

Best is to go audit the speakers set, we here can only recommend which range is the best.

QUOTE(pang0119 @ Nov 9 2010, 03:49 PM) Might as well top up and get yourself a Edifier M3300. Though it may be weak in bass, but you can tweak the bass to make it better by using software. Using Foobar2000 and loving it ever since. |
