Will be having hard time like this....
R2000T i rarely see it in lowyat too....easier to find is R1900TIII but not as easy as other multimedia speakers model.
Maybe you can try google for both of the reviews will help.

Guys need advice, i want to buy 5.1 sound system...which 1 is better,M3500 or R501?using for music and gaming.Focus on the sound only...other feature can be neglected....

be sure you get the R501 MKII version.
the MKII version got a tweeter for better soundstage

I aso recommend R501..

yup that's true
so that means bring your own player and ask them to allow you to test it
make sure you have direct connection from the speaker to your portable media player
if they don't allow you to test then don't buy from them. no use buying from such dealer

bring PSP should be enough since that only portable device i have.

My bro said, i need to change the transformer to 3 ampere if i want to drive the JBL speaker on R401 amp. Is it possible? (not i dont trust my bro, i just want to hear suggestion from pro mod (u guys!))

i'm not definitely..

If changed the to higher current transformer, it has better supply but the amplifier chip itself inside the R401 is not powerful enough to drive high wattage speaker. Like you have changed to a bigger water tank but the supply pipe is still like a fish tube....

For just changing the transformer, sound will improve on R401 speaker, able to goes louder and much stable coz the amplifier has better supply.

So has to change the pipe also..

yes, you might want to change this and thats... but budget to sound quality difference is another story, then again if you franken-shizz your edifier with jbl speakers it won't be called edifier anymore...jbl cost moer, sure it sounds better.....first your put jbl into your edifier -a franken-shizz upgrade mod.... then you want to down grade it using another edifier amp with 3 amp tranny.... is it even an edifier anymore? i don't know what you making... if you want franken shizz form first place... ask the even more pro-prozzz =) i'm just hack n slash
