Good to have pure silver cable. Pure copper is good enough. Changing the woofer is not recommended because the design and specs are tuned for it original, you can try but the outcome may be good and may be bad.

lol for the network cable is common case, believe it....because network cable has the good spec to ensure signal is transfer properly from one to another. It has teflon insulated dielectric which known as the best one and twisted pair can do some noise rejection. It uses pure copper too....and yet with good and low price compare to those audiophile grade cables. Try google what audiophile says about cat5e.

salesman at my town here never know that network cable as a speaker cable sound real good, they said like that where got sound come out lor?

have to see the power output of the amp and the power the satellite needed..

If according to here,I think C3 couldn't handle that pair of sats..
Just a suggestion,think of what you really want then go for it.
But since u got R401,so listen to songs using 2.0 setup would be ok..
But if u have good DAC to pair with it,you can squeeze out the juice..
And I'd recommend R1900T3 over R2000..

My friend in JB can sell S530D in JB at almost the same price as KL.
And I really doubt what that dealer said.

He himself got r1900t3.perhaps u can pay him a visit and check it out.

yup that's true
so that means bring your own player and ask them to allow you to test it
make sure you have direct connection from the speaker to your portable media player
if they don't allow you to test then don't buy from them. no use buying from such dealer

I saw R1900TIII at AllIT most of the time.
Should check it out after holiday...

Remember to test it with your own setup 1st.
In case you go there all the speakers sound does not impress you.

yes, you might want to change this and thats... but budget to sound quality difference is another story, then again if you franken-shizz your edifier with jbl speakers it won't be called edifier anymore...jbl cost moer, sure it sounds better.....first your put jbl into your edifier -a franken-shizz upgrade mod.... then you want to down grade it using another edifier amp with 3 amp tranny.... is it even an edifier anymore? i don't know what you making... if you want franken shizz form first place... ask the even more pro-prozzz =) i'm just hack n slash

I see. I'll take a look at Asus Xonar U1. How much is the USB DAC? Better than Asus? Having tight budget.

Btw, for internal sound card, which is recommended for Edifier C3? Not too expensive please, about RM300 maybe
