Anyone here going to Super GT? I've a few questions

1. How can i get a pass for the pitlane?
2. If i buy ticket for the event, can i stand at the handrail to take pics? (not blocking the others view)
3. Last time I saw there were many photos of Super GT roadshow in various shopping malls like Sunway Pyramid, KLCC.. I just checked these shopping malls event schedule but cannot find any relevant info. Anyone has it?

Hope someone able to answer my questions. Thanks!

I was wondering whether 550D's 18-55mm kitlens can produce good bokeh at F3.5?I mean still pictures and video hmm.gif
*
Depending how far is the distance between your subject and the foreground/background. For f/3.5, it's at its widest end, so the difference in distances has to be very big to produce a creamy bokeh.

55mm at f/5.6 should be able to produce the bokeh look that you are seeking for, remember, focal length distance plays a big role in bokeh look as well. smile.gif

And the Photoshop Lightroom 3. Too good to be true lah. tongue.gif

No, f/3.0 is not possible. it goes like this, f/2.8 > 3.2 > 3.5 > and so on. smile.gif

So means it's still adjustable lar...means the kitlens even at zoom, it still can go for F2.8 right?

I'm now delima on which to choose between this and Sigma 18-70mm f2.8-4.5

1. join a media company as freelance photographer, such as thestar, sport megazine company etc. or buy paddock pass @ RM100 at ticketing.

2. As far as i know, it is free sitting, you can stand untill you get scolded laugh.gif

Sorry, I don't get what you're trying to say. laugh.gif The Tamron I have no matter at what focal length you are, you always get f/2.8 goodness. thumbup.gif

Between the Sigma and this? mm. Depending on what kind of stuff you shoot most and your photography habits I guess. I'm not familiar with Sigma pricing. smile.gif

I find it hard to believe tho LOL
Pretty sure a lot of detail is loss, no matter how good a noise reduction program is, how it works shouldn't be have too much diff..

hmm... y you following me?? rclxms.gif

I say.. don't follow me...

I say again.. dont follow me.. whistling.gif

depends on your shooting style. I find 135 is a nice length for me. (ON ff lagi cun)
The Sigma 30mm is too short. When taking wedding portraits etc, have to get up close and that's just not my style. (My style is Shoot then lari.. keke..)

I think perhaps best bet for Crop is the 85mm. Maybe get the Samyang 85mm F1.4 MANUAL FOCUS.. (NOT!!)
*
well it might just be a coincidence that we have the same preferred FL.
btw I use the 24mm and go UP close to my subjects and I don't find it a problem, heck the 30mm should suit me even more biggrin.gif

EPIC FAIL!! FAIL!! FAIL!! Nothing beats stupidity and the quick "shift-delete" action key. EPIC FAIL!!! Dang IT!!!

I just deleted an entire wedding shot's LR Catalog and the RAW DNG Files. Approx 2000pics and of which I just started working on and have gone to like 200+ pics.. ALL Gone.. ALL GONE!

STUPID!!

photorec is not recovering it. Test disk is not recovering it..

This is WHY you have backups. RAID also no use for stupidity.

(the silver lining is, I do have 1 more backup. But all my work gone!!)

mantra - Backup..backup..backup (or grow a freaking brain!!)

Sorry to hear this... sad.gif
Yup, a multiple backup is a must for wedding pics. I myself backup to three external HDD just to be safe... smile.gif
