I know i've seen it somewhere on this thread, but for the life of me i just can't find it.
I've just OC'ed my phone and my firmware info is now set to <unknown>. Search the net and found the solution. But when i get to "apt-get install --reinstall mp-fremantle-generic-pr", X_terminal cannot find "mp-fremantle-generic-pr". Mine is a Taiwan AP set. |

QUOTE(x132755 @ Jun 12 2010, 12:04 PM) hav to b care for all step to modify the fon... Well, they intentionally oc-ed it to death simply to see how fast can can Cortex A8 go.some how if u no luck or wrong steps may cause the brick.. Nevertheless Cortex A8 is a pretty powerful processor. You guys can OC it till 900Mhz & run the phone without much trouble. Just came back from my U's IT Fair.Seems like N900 have very good wireless receiver. When my friend tried Samsung Wave/HTC Legend/etc none of them could detect the wifi.Need to go bit closer to detect it. Meanwhile I can connect from very far without any trouble. P/S : Nice guide there meLi.Will try that before I flash my phone. |

Multitasking with many apps are quite laggy for me, I'm running at default 600MHz. What is the safest spot to stay at, 800MHz?

You can go up to 1000MHz.But if you want to be caution then I'll recommend 800MHz. P/S:Seems like you're selling your phone?Better don't OC the phone if you're selling it cause it'll revoke the warranty. |
