I just noticed it recently.
Most probably will get rid of it to make way for QueenBee widgets.

what is SSH?
currently i got nokia multimedia transfer on my mac.
with drivers for E72.
i can only update maps and transfer the software in the fone using mass memory.
then install from file manager on fone.
*
Basically, with SSH, it allows you to connect to your device via network/WiFi. Just install it on your phone, set the root password.

Then you can use WinSCP or any similar client for Mac to access your device for secure file transfer

From wiki:
Secure Shell or SSH is a network protocol that allows data to be exchanged using a secure channel between two networked devices.

What is WinSCP?
WinSCP is an open source SFTP client and FTP client for Windows. Its main function is the secure file transfer between a local and a remote computer. Beyond this, WinSCP offers basic file manager functionality. It uses Secure Shell (SSH) and supports, in addition to Secure FTP, also legacy SCP protocol.

Actually using the "Extra Decoder Plugin" RMVB works flawlessly with the default Media Player.

As for Mac support, I think it shouldnt be a problem and might work better since MAC is based on UNIX
*
Are you sure? By default default Media Player cannot detect RMVB and MKV files. As I know, you need to edit/register the files first so that it can read or see it in default Media Player.
I have RMVB files and I cannot see it in my default Media Player.

As for MKV, I read that it's supported, but most MKV are in HD format, which our phone doesn't support for too high resolution. Thus possibly why we can't play it. I haven't tried MKV files with lower resolution yet. So no sure, but I read that it's supported and how to register so that the default Media Player able to read it.

KDE PIM Goes Mobile

Today a prototype version of mobile variants of the KDE PIM suite was demoed at LinuxTag (expect more information some time next week). These applications along with GNU/Linux, Mac OS and Windows versions of Kontact accessing a Kolab Server will be on show for the duration of LinuxTag. The application packages themselves can be downloaded by anyone willing to test them out. Since the last update about KDE PIM Mobile, there have been many visual and functional improvements to the applications.

Details http://dot.kde.org/2010/06/10/kde-pim-goes-mobile

Can try it prototype.

TQ

To crack wireless encryption password.
You need to read the tutorial to use that.

I blame the Malaysian weather, yes mobile batteries last longer in temperate weather then in extreme heat or cold. Someone need to design a back cover with built in battery like all those crap for the Diephone.
