firmware update for byond box is free, but you will have to pay RM5/month for recording function, and buy WD external USB harddrive, specifically WD My Passport AV 320GB

MX your post does not make any sense. Astro is not selling the HDD. WD is and the firmware is made available for free. but teh PVR service is chargeble for RM5 each month.

Go and bug WD to lower the price lah...why Astro?

Yes, both will be available on 16th June, but
FX HD
Fox SD

Fox is better, but only in SD. Hopefully it will also available for free preview

Meaning there is no additional fee rite? Bcos i read somewhere in this thread that mentioned something like this "to use a single cable with dual-tuner PVR, you must use a device called Stacker-De-stacker (SDS), apparently it will cost your RM300"

I'm not going to swap my Max if they r goin to charge me additional RM 300...

Don't think installer know about this. They must insist to install 2 cables because it was directed to do so by Astro. Furthermore, it's hard to find it here. Also you need power supply near the stacker.
