I tried to plug in my Seagate Freeagent Go 320GB 2.5" HDD. The system will detect the drive and then come out with a warning:

Validation Failed: This USB device cannot be used.

same warning came out when i plugged my HDD into the front USB port, so i assume you dont have to use the back USB for the PVR. but of course, if you plug into the back, it looks a lot more neater.

So its confirmation. unless we use the exact drive ASTRO recommends, the system will not accept it. but the question is.. can we use the exact WD My passport AV model but 500GB, 640GB or even 1TB?

Hehehe... apart from sugar shortage, there will be a WD My passport AV 320GB in the market very very soon.

The comparison table between the Byond PVR and Byond was missing..

i might have missed it, the new FAQ does not say that you need to subscribe to that package to watch previous recordings. the old FAQ states that if you are not subscribed to the package, you cannot watch old recordings.

Eric Chew Astro PVR is the best thing in the world. With existence of Astro Byond PVR, who cares about TMNet IPTV?

May have to start a "Shut Up, Eric Chew" or "Ban Eric Chew" page on facebook. He's getting out of control. Even criticising other people who have genuine questions using foul language.
