Mine is built pretty well too, except that the power button refuses to light up when I turn on the laptop...

never use any cooler before, but once my temp goes sky high till reaching 90+.

but once i clean up the GPUs heatsink, i never reach 60 on both of my GPUs.

i lol on whoever don't use Alienware but says Alienware bad at cooling. biggrin.gif 3.5 hours straight gaming during summer on both GPU, still never reach 60. brows.gif

so i don't think cooler is necessarily for M17x.

my suggestion is write a official latter to Dell Technical Support that you are facing with A LOT of problem, just within <insert duration here> and highly not satisfy with the quality of your unit.

tell them you are demanding whole replacement unit as compensation for your time spent for repairing and problem you faced after receiving your unit.

you will not harm at all. its worth to try. i definitely will send that latter if i were you mate.

its freaking good and honestly i'd surprise with its cooling system.

there is nothing surprising with single GPU can achieve as low as that temp, but when we talking about dual, its make a huge different and deep meaning. flex.gif
