I didn't do anything..I never even drop this Garbage SH*T
I was on my regular gaming session by opening and closing the lid
At 1st it was not that noticeable ..as i don really mine a small gap..not usually that pickky
but once the gap getting bigger and bigger i was like 'Oh my this is serious man"
And my friend and customer was like "Are you sure you brought this for rm4k ,it look like and piece of junk"

So i call out the dell service center and forward him the photo that i shown to u guys here.
And that's how I go a bull crap answer...about wear and tear issue bla bla bla.. mad.gif

Not even a year man...my 3 year Hp Laptop quality are 10 times better then this piece of crap

@ lksing78 : first impression is important mate. maybe if you clean up the dust, polish it a bit then it will looks like you care more about your laptop and attract the attention that this defect is from their fault, not yours.

anyhow, 'wear & tear' is not covered my most of the warranty in the world.

the best you can do (and i recommend it) to get a few pictures from different angles and stress to them that this is not your fault and Dell's warranty should cover this.

been with Dell since my first desktop (almost 10 years ago) and i can assure you that their warranty/CompleteCover service should be much better than that. prolly you got yourself a bad CS. on the laptop side, both my old Inspirons got their loose (and i mean loose, not even broken) hinge replaced (with a brand new lid cover as well), the 6400 got the whole keyboard replaced with just a loose 'U' key.

it might depends on how you speak to 'em at times. try calling other customer service agent and see how it goes. smile.gif

Looks like AW quality is dropping way lower than it used to be...well, before Dell gets in the way that is...i guess, need to think twice dry.gif, but still for local laptop, AW is still consider as premium laptop icon_rolleyes.gif

Quality really drop alot..i remember my Inspiron last for quite sometime. I use until battery gone and lcd panel really loose till canot erect properly and the unit still working fine..Never call dell once..

Now AW so many quality issue, maybe is my luck or something..

the period of the CompleteCover is never an issue. it will be the same quality of service and Dell must honour the warranty. unless your unit only comes with 1 year CC and it broke down in the 2nd year. smile.gif
