Just announced at CeBit... As usual, I'm just interested in the barebone casing.  biggrin.gif

As for the M11x, it can outgun every single 11" out there and even comes close to some of the 13" and 14" too.

m11x is really cool...then only drawback is too small...i use alot of excel so i get m15x tongue.gif

how about warranty? hmm.gif

you better have at least 1 year warranty dude. the quality is not really stable nowadays..
my suggestion is write a official latter to Dell Technical Support that you are facing with A LOT of problem, just within <insert duration here> and highly not satisfy with the quality of your unit.

tell them you are demanding whole replacement unit as compensation for your time spent for repairing and problem you faced after receiving your unit.

you will not harm at all. its worth to try. i definitely will send that latter if i were you mate.

they said they can change again but canot guarantee of 0 dead pixel. anything below 5 is consider ok..so i think i will continue to used...getting bored keep changing lcd..

well you still could try based on your lappy's history.

ever asked them why the quality is this bad? hmm.gif
*
he claim manufacturing standard is 5 dead or 1 bright pixel...so he said mine consider ok.. Dell QC drop a lot now days when i talk to the technician, but service still thumb up. In fact the technical support call me if i wanna change the LCD panel, but this time i 'm tired haha....So i will temporary live with it..Anyone extend the warranty to 3 years? i think really worth it tongue.gif

wanna ask, i'm still new with the laptop. enjoyed it very much. finished Modern Warfare 2 yesterday and it was awesome. look even better then the ps3 version. lol. got some Q though.

1. cant help but notice the battery indicator at the back of the laptop (m11x), the one next to alienware (writen in alien alphabets), is it working/ lights up when disconnected from a power source?

2. does the left side usb port charges phones, etc when the laptop is turned off?
*
yes m11x is possible but this will drain your battery and reduce the lifespan of your battery.

for m15x and m17x i dun think it's good..we dun have enuf battery haha
