you better have at least 1 year warranty dude. the quality is not really stable nowadays..
my suggestion is write a official latter to Dell Technical Support that you are facing with A LOT of problem, just within <insert duration here> and highly not satisfy with the quality of your unit.

tell them you are demanding whole replacement unit as compensation for your time spent for repairing and problem you faced after receiving your unit.

you will not harm at all. its worth to try. i definitely will send that latter if i were you mate.

Well, Asus G73JH-A1/A2 LCD quality doesnt as good as Alienware, the colour out put is sucks...

wanna ask, i'm still new with the laptop. enjoyed it very much. finished Modern Warfare 2 yesterday and it was awesome. look even better then the ps3 version. lol. got some Q though.

1. cant help but notice the battery indicator at the back of the laptop (m11x), the one next to alienware (writen in alien alphabets), is it working/ lights up when disconnected from a power source?

2. does the left side usb port charges phones, etc when the laptop is turned off?

is a C code...i write myself...proven to be working in my college 10 years ago...my sourvenior to the sys admin there..

Alienwares owners, ill be getting my Alienware M17X soon but I got a question, I actaully plan to change my curresnt HDD ( 500GBX2) to a WD VelociRaptor. Has any of u done that? I plan to replace both HHD with this Raptor. Do u think tthe laptop can support and how about tthe heat? Thanks in advance
