- On spring of 2008, the XPS brand was scaled down. -
- On June 2, 2009, The M17x was introduced as the First Alienware/Dell branded system. -

"For the nameplate customization, so far, i did not hear any suggestions or plan to do that in Malaysia as it needs a special machine to do the carving of names or symbol on the plate.
