I am not clear how Nav Launcher works. I installed it and then it asked me to install "Text to Speech" which I did but the microphone button in Nav Launcher is still grayed out. Then it gives me the option to search for location but I could not type anything into the box. I speak to the it but it was not responding.

Does Nav Launcher works together with Maps? Or its a standalone application?

guys.. i'm tested with the Nav launcher.. it not work for me sweat.gif , but the nav launcher "brut" version is work well. biggrin.gif
just you need to key in the full address only it might easy to find the location.
Nav launcher need to work with google map smile.gif

Actually, Maps provide us with an aerial view of the roads. Hence, even if we take the wrong road, we can see what is up ahead of us and turn at the right places. Additionally, we can always recalculate manually by hitting on the MY CURRENT LOCATION and re-enter the destination.

there is no perfect phone. But Desire is awesome, best phone I've used.

no equalizer available for Android OS as it does not have this feature build into the os. sound quality is ok what, if you want to tweak the sound then you need external EQ.

can we buy htc desire without contract? coz i'm not interested at all with maxis packages, i just want the phone.
If we can't, then anybody wants to make a deal with me, i take the phone and u take the plan. PM me if anyone's interested.
(btw, Desire can use other sim card (not only maxis) and can also be used when i'm overseas, right?)

The facebook alternative app : http://fbandroid.wordpress.com/ Not sure if you can download the app from there, try and search the net for the ver1.5. works like a charm smile.gif much better than the "official" fb app, but lacks a widget that's all.

I've encountered this few days ago.. I know the android or htc ime keyboard wotn appear in your input type list..
So what I did was i do a hard reset (factory reset) and reinstall the HTC IME mod again... and now it work like a charm.. flex.gif

Nope... loving it more n more everyday thumbup.gif the only thing 1 feel abit don't like is the placement of the volume key, not very strategic for a right-hander to use, especially taking foto...

u mean after u reset factory on ur maxis desire, u get back the default english keyboard? shocking.gif

still same old keyboard like when u get from maxis.. thai & chinese touch input.. but this time after u install android keyboard or HTC IME apps, you could now see the option appear in your input list... (previously I cant see any new input type in my typing option even after uninstall/reinstall the apps numerous time)

you can now buy the desire at retail price (rm2199) from maxis. i paid for one unit last nite at klcc. got their last (200th) free car charger too .. tongue.gif

Sandisk class 6 some already 15mb/s.
