I've got a question.
How many languages has the phone got on default?
Specifically, does it have Korean language and can you type in hangul (korean)?
Important for me.
Thanks in advance.

QUOTE(maliqu3 @ Jun 1 2010, 09:34 PM) anybody can tell me about the call quality? i read many complaints about it, is it really bad? how bad is it? is there a way to solve this problem? thanks Heard about this too.Can owners of Desire clarify? QUOTE(zackloy @ Jun 1 2010, 09:58 PM) It sounds fine to me. The only thing I dislike is the speakerphone which is "tinny" sounding, same when playing back songs etc. A lot softer compared to my Nokia 5800. Well... Desire doesn't have great speakers to begin with no?Was never built for that either. Just use headphones/earphones then? |

QUOTE(alvinz @ Jun 2 2010, 03:14 PM) 3 or 4 segments, it doesn't matter. They're backwards compatible. Any 3.5mm jack ear/headphones should work on one another. |

QUOTE(shigem @ Jun 2 2010, 09:34 PM) hi guys..i'm also a proud owner of a htc desire..the phone is great although the battery seems to draining quite fast...last me only one day plus.. Disable all those background apps which auto-syncs every minute.someone on this thread was saying that their headphones are not working when connected to their desire..mine working just fine.. Really drain your battery like made. Just manually sync yourself when you need to, afterall you don't need 24/7 updates from your facebook right? |

QUOTE(z3r0717 @ Jun 5 2010, 09:26 AM) My findings on the v1.21.405.2 update... Awesome news~~!!The battery indeed improved a lot! I had my wifi on and went to sleep. next morning, the battery didn't even drop much.. In the JuicePlotter app, in the graph, the line just went straight, slowly going down.... from midnight 2am to 11am, percentage drop like 1-2% only, of course in standby mode.. when i just got the phone, it drop 20% over the night, and then 5% the minimum, now 1-2%.. this is good news Now this update has to really come to the Asian sets quick. Battery life is one of the main gripes the Desires has. |

QUOTE(z3r0717 @ Jun 5 2010, 09:53 AM) lol, not many ppl call me and i rarely use the speaker... i don't even know how is the quality from before and after... haha WIN!but i read at xda forum, some guys said it did sound better... Now time to wait for the 2.2 update. EDIT: Found another common problem fixed! If you're on wi-fi, and you wanna change to mobile network, usually it won't work.. You'll need to manually do it, it seems HTC has fixed it! now it works flawlessly... Desire is getting better and better. Way to go HTC. QUOTE(pluginbaby @ Jun 5 2010, 11:59 AM) Wait till next week, hopefully the update comes some time around Monday or Tuesday.QUOTE(z3r0717 @ Jun 5 2010, 12:07 PM) HTC SEA(South East Asia) Website also not yet announce... it will be out soon, don't worry and there's nothing to be excited about for this update since it's not froyo Increased battery life is something to be excited about! |

I was at KLCC having dinner just now.
Decided to check out their booth as well. I doubt you guys will get any tomorow, only left 2 more Desires as I asked them. Restock only next week. |
