danial, we are not selling laptops, you need to go lowyat plaza or garage sales.

14 inch and 15 inch, its basically personal preference, recommend you to try it yourself at computer shop as that matters the most.

when it comes to gaming... GPU plays the most important role..

anyway.. you question isnt so clear..
there are i7 dual core which is high clocked.. --preferable in gaming as it is high clock...
but well.. for i7 quad.. there are also games that fully utilized quad core in i7 quad.. such as RE5 which is very good...

well.. if you really gaming.. choosing high clocked dual core is enough.. now.. high clocked dual core is i7 620M ..[yes it is i7] ..

but if you choose for the future[maybe upcoming games can fully utilize quad core in i7 quad]... go for i7

oh ic.. so above than i7 620m is not good for gaming? for example i7-740qm is not good for gaming?

i7-620m is dual core while i7-740qm is quad core, guess that explains it all right?

depend on games... but for the best.. choose the dual core...
or wait for newer AMD processor..
tri core / quad core in AMD processor seems better..

depend on games you play..

if the games utilizes quad cores in i7 such as Resident Evil 5... it should be better to choose i7 quad core...

if you want ASUS freedos, you probably can oni choose
Asus A42Dr, AMD P320 + ATi HD5470 DDR2, freeDOS@RM1799

well, the AMD P320 is a tri-core, so its better than like the Dell Inspiron 14, i3 350M + GMA HD@RM1949
and the graphic card is also better on the ASUS....

it's stable i suppose... just u have to stick to an outdated driver if the manufacture is lazy to update its driver or u lose the switchable graphic ability if u plan to use the official driver from AMD

I'm looking to buy ASUS A42JV-VX042V after hari raya holiday. but after I look at the webcam performance,i still doubt about it.

despite it great performance and feedback, it only has 0.3MP Webcam . I don't think this is great for me as i really enjoy video chatting with skype or ym.

I think i also consider to buy Acer Aspire 4741G-5462G64 as it offer quite same quality (i guess) and also same price.

Acer Crystal Eye high-def webcam, 1280 x 1024 resolution, supporting enhanced Acer PrimaLiteā„¢ technology

But the warranty duration is a bad thing for acer. Need to add extra money on it.

So just wanna ask about 0.3 for video call and picture capture, is it enough? or still worst.

it just good enoigh for video call and capture photo. good thing that Acer support up to 1280x1024 resolution picture taken. most built in camera / webcam have usually around this 640 x 480 size.

the megapixel doesnt affect much, it is just the size, if the lens and camera is good, 0.3 megapixel still okay ald

Thanks!
