Well, Acer 4551 would be a nice choice as per given budget....if not then what our bro (kae7) suggested is pretty good ...go for Asus (2 years warranty) or Dell Inspiron (best after sales service)

Well, price goes up & down...so cannot exactly be confirmed on which price is it now...as for me, 5471G seems like a good choice for you..but still remember than you are looking for something in 14" range, so i guess Acer Aspire TimelineX 4820TG would be a good buy

Well, 4820TG offers slim and portability (mobility) while 5471G offers a larger screen size, higher clocked CPU & bigger RAM...

So, the choice is in your hand, want mobility and light notebook then 4820TG is perfect choice while 5471G is good for viewing works in larger screen

4820TG can run AutoCAD/3D Software fine...and these software that you mentioned runs more on CPU rather than GPU..so GPU is not a main concern here

Yes, the problem with G320M is its only DX10.1, so future proof would be HD5470

A good choice, Asus is a reliable brand and it provides default 2 years warranty for their products ...others that might be consider :

Acer 4745G, i5 430M + ATi HD5470/GMA HD@RM2699
Dell Inspiron 14R, i5 430M + ATi HD5470, Home Basic@RM2899

Well, usually if its a DELL, we strongly suggest you to get it ONLINE, because you can choose the spec the way you want it ..guessing DELL outlet should have a pre-configured unit of Dell Inspiron 14R ..can't help you about your area though because not from there

And considering your budget, why don't you take a look at Dell SXPS 16 which is on promotion now selling @RM2999

As we all in Mobile Computing said, Dell SXPS (P8700 + HD4670) is LAPTOP OF THE MONTH...for laptop within the range of RM3k, this is the best

Yup, seems like only Inspiron 15R would give you the cheapest 15" laptop (with numeric pad) ..

Performance wise, almost the same but i3 runs cooler than T6570 and it also consumed less power compared to i3 350M, though in raw performance, the gap is not that much...
