check my status yesterday...TM assign a Malay to come on this Saturday 10am...but..dunno why...today check again...TM change it to a Chinese and the time oso change to 12noon..

Maybe Tiong Nam doesn't deliver on your location, so HP need to use other courier service that support your location

they change technician maybe their schedule has change or technician has some misc problem request to change etc

They delivered the netbook to me with Spectra instead of what I've expected - a van/lorry or some bigger vechiles... Feels funny the moment I saw it

My streamyx was installed on the 3rd of June. Does anyone know if I'm eligible for the 50% discount? In the T&C it says 14 working days, but I remember when I called HP, they said it will be delivered within 14 days taking into saturdays and sundays into account.

Btw, what warranty problem?

I've gotten my netbook and the homeline fixed within one month after subscription. But I have a prob here. Where can I get the product key of microsoft office if it is provided along with the netbook?

can i ask.....if ppl waited for 30day quarantine period.........inside the 1 months ....no charges right?

of course no charge, when u terminated your streamyx account, the billing has already stop. the quarantine period is just stop you from registering new packages within 30 days

that better than mine; the Streamyx technician came with a new Vios

May 13 - I went to TMPOINT and apply for uni cool pack
May 28 - My line is activated
Jun 15 - HP called me
Jun 18 - Notebook delivered to me

So inefficiency.

with these statistic can someone please tell me whether it can support to 4Mbps?
i considering upgrade it to 4mbps...
i currently using 1Mbps pakage...
i was told by the technician that even i able to sign for 4mbps, it will only mantained in 3.5 to 3.8mbps.
it cant stay in 4mbps all the time,is it true?

HP called to tell my netbook will arrive on monday the 21st. My streamyx was installed on the 3rd this month, assuming it does come on monday:

(i) counting both saturdays and sundays, it will be 18 days.
(ii) counting only saturdays, it will be 15 days
(iii) counting only weekdays, it will be 12 days

So, will I have 50% for the first month's bill? The T&C says 14 working days, but when I called HP up they said 14 days including weekends.

Very high attenuation. Might be higher when you upgrade to ADSL 2+.

The maximum rate as they say is about 3.5Mbps from 4Mbps package, unless you get a higher cap.

Yeah, working days ususally doesn't include weekends, for government especially. Public holiday too.
