Just wondering, maxis states that the speed is 7.2mbps, obviously that's the maximum speed, normally what speed can we get? Can anyone post some speediest result?

Well basically Maxis speed Max is 7.2MBps (That is the max any HSDPA network can go) but after maxis upgrade to HSPA then you can reach 40+MBPS but now I can say depend on location you can get around 2MBps to 5MBps comfortably from maxis

but when get indoor in underground level with 1 bar signal only get max 1.1mbps

My highest speed was around 930KBps, which is 7.44Mbps, so I suppose Maxis' bandwidth is an underestimate.

Average speed is hard to say, because it can be anywhere from less than 100KBps to 4/500 KBps. Higher than 500KBps is rare.

To terminate, call 1800 82 2000.

You need to make sure the sim card slot works. There are many Dell laptops has this sim card slot, but it doesn't work unless you buy the module to read sim cards.
To test out, slot in a sim card and see it it recognise the sim card.

Where do we sign up for the unlimited monthly plan? I heard it is discontinued?

1. My sister just finish the 2 yers contract on maxis bb. but when she want to terminate, the sc ask to return back the modem including the box. if without box, sc want to charge rm60? anybody care to help me plis. i need guide.

I had a maxis bb 2 yers back. it definitely suck so stop using them n forgot to cancel or terminate. yep, it is my fault until i forget about it. when i move to a new house, i want to register phoneline, they said my name already been blacklist n when i check, maxis had charge me 2k worth of two yers contract eventho they already terminate my line on the 3rd month of the subcription because i didnt pay the bills. why the heck the charge for the whole two yers but i can manage to surf the web until the 3rd month of the contract only.
