i have a maxis E1762 USB modem. anyone tried using it with tp-link TL-MR3420 or aztech HW550-3G? b0th the tp-link and aztech are 3G/3.75G Wireless Router with USB connection.

i was wondering is this would work for sharing out the USB modem to my family member for handphone connection..

hi, im from bandar baru bangi area and just subscribed to the maxis unlimited 3G plan (they still offer this plan, but you must be a maxis postpaid customer) my speeds are around 1.6mbps, with max around 2mbps. i find this totally acceptable. managed to get 3.6 mbps in seremban area

and guys, did the free huawei E1552 modem unlocked or not? thinking of selling it since i've got another modem.

my signal still very bad so i thought buy a usb extension and try different location around my place.

But when i connect it using usb. The maxis BB is not functioning. Any idea why?

Guys, need help here. I've been using the Maxis Broadband and I just hit the 3gb cap though.(Still damn smooth after the speed cap) But now when i connect it says " The preset limit on the data volume is now reached. Extra costs will be generated for continued use. " So if I use it now they will start charging me?

i just went to maxis center in lowyat. they said if you are a postpaid customer, can apply for unlimited 3g. thats it RM99 per month

- you have a choice... either you can add the unlimited data plan to your existing sim card or you can request it to be on a different simcard. i opted for a new simcard and bought a 7.2mbps modem instead
