hey guys, let say if i got broadband from maxis which can have 3GIG of data download every month, can i change the sim inside the modem to micro sim and use it for the ipad?

Guys just wondering the camera connection kit for iPad in Australia all sold out or still got stock. Thanks in advance.

My untite just get 1 IPAD from lucky draw last week. But she told me when she on the ipad , it just showing the Battery logo only. Can i know issit it dont have a OS ?????

erm... if you are talking about big battery logo with red color, it does that when the battery is too low. Just charge it until it boot.

No WiFi issues so far - tested at home and several cafe outlets in my hometown Batu Pahat, all working perfectly

You have to cut the simcard to micro size. That is what I did with my Hotlink prepaid 3G card. I went to Maxis thinking of getting the new micro but the price is not attractive. I don't mind paying RM58 for 500MB or Rm78 for 1.5GB monthly BUT on top of that I need to pay another RM30 for voice. As I will not be using any voice calls the RM30 is wasted furthermore no phones yet support micro sim. As I rarely used 3G temporary I use my old Hotlink 3G and cut it down to size - works perfectly

You can opt for multi-sim. Extra RM15 a month for each extra sim. The main sim is like normal. The second sim cannot receive calls or sms, otherwise it is the same as main sim. You have to cut down the sim but be careful cos the sim is bigger than normal, so very tight, but can be done. Now waiting for billing to see if both sim shares my RM58 500MB data plan. It is supposed to. Will report during next billing cycle. Will monitor for 2 billing cycles before I am satisfied.

ipad not a phone...sim card for data (internet) purpose only so u can make. a call using skype

how do you transfer it out after creating it? or is it stuck in the ipad?

I use dropbox mostly. Have not checked iTunes but believe you can transfer it out through iTunes as well. Will check.

Usually Fedex will take care of the custom even if sangkut. Seems like it's not being tax.

By the way, any Ipad sellers here have several extra 16gb WiFi Ipad? My friend's company is looking for a bulk purchase.
