QUOTE(stringfellow @ May 16 2010, 10:06 PM) You may be in for a dilemma here. I have two occasions where I CAN get you the STM Micro bag while I'm in Brisbane and Perth this month, BEFORE the Muzetto stock improves. Decisions, decisions, decisions. haha yeah decisions decisions, but as you said, Brisbane might not have accessories yet due to the launch date and knowing Perth I don't fancy the odds hehe so yeah maybe it is a blessing indeed that might point me towards the muzetto |

QUOTE(sfotsy @ May 17 2010, 10:10 PM) need you all help here. i jst got my ipad and found the adaptor is different while the pin is diffrent. I found that my Apple iphone adaptor is similar may i know it is possible to used it to charge my ipad? Anyone who is selling the adaptor? I just changed the head of the adapter with one of my old macbook adapter heads. You can use your iPhone adapter but know that it is only 5W so it takes slightly longer to charge the iPad. That is 10W if not mistaken (*goes off to check the charger). |

QUOTE(slickz @ May 18 2010, 08:05 PM) I need to actually hold the ipad in my hands and see if it's heavy enough to be uncomfortable to type with one hand. Also, what about the heat from the device? Holding it and typing with one hand can be a tad tiring due to the device having a bit of heft but not a deal killer. In fact once you get used to it, you will hardly notice it. Heat? Only one time I ever felt any heat was when I was using it in the car stuck in a traffic jam and it was exposed to the sun, other than that, never felt any heat from the back of the device. At the moment I seem to be torn between choosing this or a HTC HD2 Android. Can't compare a phone to a tablet/slate/insert any name here. If you feel that you want to have the best media consumption device at the moment, be it reading books, watching movies, surfing the web or even social media, then the iPad is your choice. As many people have pointed out, this is not going to replace your laptop but it will replace that dinky netbook. Plus ever since I got my iPad my iPhone has been relegated to a corner only brought out for the occasional music listening session |

QUOTE(roysun @ May 18 2010, 10:39 PM) Sync the file via iTunes or if in your mail app, just use the "open in" option. when using the mail app option, it auto converts and imports into Keynote. If you transfer via iTunes you have to select the import option (*icon on the top right) then select the file you wish to convert and import. Note that you can only import MS PPT but cannot export back to that format. |

QUOTE(Edoras @ May 20 2010, 06:21 AM) It looks nice with the pocket but however making it stand and also putting an object under looks very awkward... Yeah I second this, awkward indeed. Believe someone posted this before, still can't swallow the concept of using any object to place underneath, means you always need to keep something nearby or with you to prop it up. |

QUOTE(echothreealpha @ May 20 2010, 12:00 PM) Guys, I'm thinking of buying Civilization Revolution for the iPad. Has anyone bought it yet? Is it worth it? I bought it because I always wanted to play Civ on my iPad but honestly it is still buggy like the iPhone version. And yes what String said is true because some assets are not reworked so sometimes it is blown up or remains the same size as the iPhone |

QUOTE(echothreealpha @ May 20 2010, 12:38 PM) Suggestion, do not buy it until they update it. Some games never seem to get any updates at all. It is fun, but it does crash from time to time and do not think you want to spend USD 12.99, but I think USD 4.99 for Angry Birds is justifiable, very fun fun. |
