Intel is scare if it release a too powerful processor. Thats why they shrink the P4 and slap two of them into the Atom. It still sucks. If Intel had the guts, they would have shrink Conroe and we would already have a tablet like Ipad thats capable of running Flash (not just basic one, games from FB) years ago.

Wonderful! Woke up this morning, switched on my iPad and found there was an update for Documents to Go! iPad version ready to go for those who bought the iPhone version smile.gif

Edit: Hmm hoped that it would be better looking...got to say that iWorks for the iPad lacks many features but it looks good.

Edit: Hoping that they allow ppt presentation via the VGA adapter, if not haih have to rely on Keynote again, this is getting frustrating

i'm looking for a ipad case that flips open . ie: no need to take the ipad out to use.

I got a book type - it protects the iPad completely. Just flip out the front piece and fold back - you need not take the iPad out. Same time you can pull out a extender flap and use as a stand and you can place the ipad at an angle to view , reasonable at RM120. Got it from one of the pda kiosks at LowYat I think is 3rd floor. Similar types selling at Apple outlets with nicer packaging costs RM250+

For Documents To Go, here is the scenario at the moment. For those that purchased the standard Docs To Go, the update to the iPad version is not out yet. For those that purchased Docs To Go Premium Edition, the iPad update is out.

For those that wanted to buy the Docs To Go Premium Edition, it was USD 11.99 this morning but is now USD 14.99 as the sale ended. Yes it was a short time before it went from 12 USD to 15 USD which is why before the iPad version came out they kept asking people to buy the iPhone version as it was on sale as well.

Edit: And....... now it is back to USD 11.99 lol, well for those wanting to get it, better be quick before it goes back to USD 14.99. Just checked, QuickOffice does not have an iPad version yet and OfficeHD2 does not do Powerpoint yet.

Edit: Confirmed, unless I cannot find the option, there is no slideshow option in this build yet. So at the moment whatever you do, you can open it up in Keynote which will import it to its own format then you slideshow from there. Man I had hoped that Dataviz would have included slideshow and the ability to use the VGA adapter sigh

That's a very nice app. But too bad as Apple has removed it from AppStore.

So in theory friends and family can share apps just by using same itunes login.

There's a Tax/Vat refund counter at Terminal 4 Heathrow which you can claim your Vat that you've paid. You have to get the shop which you've purchased your goods from to fill in the particulars with the shop's stamp and original receipt. The Tax/Vat counter at the airport might want to see the goods to deter fraud cases. So all you need are 3 things, the form, receipt and the goods. Oh yes and of coz your passport.

In theory, iTunes allows you to authorize up to 5 computers, so if they use the same logins they should get access to those apps as well.

Not sure, when my cousin tried to sync beejive to his iPhone it gave an error message. Maybe an older version bug?

can't be.

i have been on beejive since erm for as long as i can remember (way before the introduction of push capabilities)

so i'm quite sure that i have covered numerous versions of the beejive update.

Roger that, will go correct my statement, thanks for confirming that. Maybe some weird issue when syncing. Thanks.
