QUOTE(captvizcenzo @ Jun 17 2010, 12:05 AM) QUOTE(V3nz @ Jun 17 2010, 12:31 AM) This indeed a real disappointment.... lol... thanks for referring me there. Will it affect when i watching movie or playing games? Added on June 17, 2010, 12:35 am LOL,my thread so Dell is the only one with the entry level IPS LCD? Come to think of it... since I'm going with a dual monitor setup... I think IPS might be useful because when you put two 24" TNs next to each other, you'll definitely suffer from the horizontal viewing angle limitations. Anyone here so far satisfied with their U2311H? Not sure if I'm ready to make the jump to 16:9... I've been using 16:10 (1680x1050) so far and I've been lovin' it This post has been edited by mark: Jun 17 2010, 01:22 AM |

just got a u2411 last two weeks and PX2370 today
impressed with the PX2370 - ALL it rm1040 . no blue tint issue but theres dithering on the fastest response time colors are excellent. u2411 hmm screen as hot as my previous s-ips. again has issue with running prime/linx on 8-10 hours will create burn in... hence y i got the px2370 for cpu stability testing This post has been edited by cstkl1: Jun 17 2010, 04:43 AM |

QUOTE(sleedlx @ Jun 16 2010, 10:52 PM) Had a quick few shots of the screen with the lights off... I set my desktop background to solid black, moved my shortcuts into the middle and turn-on the taskbar auto-hide. this seems like IPS glow instead of bleeding as mentioned before by another forumer~ if u don't view the 'bleed' at other angles, then it's an IPS glow, which is natural~0.2 sec exposure [attachmentid=1630684] 0.5 sec exposure [attachmentid=1630685] Seems like the upper left bleed is the most prominent. Given the lottery of screens one could get, any replacement screen may not be any better (or worse have a stuck pixel) but yours seem to be a very severe IPS glow as compared to my current ST2210~ |

I guess it's not too... bad... real-life seen through your eyes may not be so obvious.... 0.2 sec exposure » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 0.5 sec exposure » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Seems like the upper left bleed is the most prominent. Given the lottery of screens one could get, any replacement screen may not be any better (or worse have a stuck pixel) Glowing/back-light bleeding corners... quite common on IPS ... even for iMacs there are pixel checkers where you can cycle through colours.... black being one of them... for full 100% dark screen.
