U2311H or P2370? does the respond time of u2311H affects gaming?
*
If you have great hawk eyes, you'll probably notice ghosting/trail when on fast pace first-person-shooting game.
But, if you're fine with some old 17" LCD probably with 16ms or 8ms, you're fine with U2311H.

Anyone have a recommendation for a 24" LCD or LED with Full HD 1080p?I've been researching alot of 24" lcds but so far i still cant make any decision.Shud i get those with HDMI inputs or DVI will just do fine?Time to replace my samsung 2243SWX PLUS.

Dell ST2420L? It has HDMI input as well as the VGA and DVI, and it's Full HD.
HDMI will depends on whether you have non-PC Full HD device that you want to output to your monitor, otherwise if you just using your monitor for your PC, it does not really matter, DVI does fine as HDMI.
Non-PC Full HD device example: PS3, XBox360, Blu-Ray Player, Full HD CamCoder, etc.

1 of my friend needs to connect his PC along with PS3 to 1 monitor, so I would recommend ST2420L, anyway, it's much cheaper than the Ultrasharp series nod.gif

Don't think Dell 2209WA will support 1080p. Although it might support HDCP through DVI.

Now the price for U2311H has just dropped to RM649 (damn I bought it for RM709 and waited 3 weeks for it) so it is a good buy.

I think now they even include a soundbar..

OK guys, I've got a Dell IN2020M monitor. All is fine and dandy except I'm stuck at 1440x900 and I can't set it to the recommended resolution which is 1600x900. There's 1600x1200 on the Windows 7 display slider but it just looks plain weird.

Does this got to do with me not using a 'true' DVI cable? Currently I'm using VGA(monitor) > DVI(card) connector since my ATI 4830 doesn't come with a native VGA connector.

those high contrast ratios are fake, they're dynamic contrast ratio which dims and brightens the LCD depending on the situation.Personally it hurts my eyes and freaking annoying
The U2311H is all dandy except it doesn't support 1:1 pixel scaling and 24p blu ray content playback.Other than that personally i can find no qualms about it.

LYP [Lowyat Plaza] shops typically don't sell Dell LCDs,on LYN [Lowyat.net] there's tonnes of Dell LCD sellers.Or you can just buy at dell.com.my

Dell Professional or Ultrasharp series? IMHO I think they're the thinnest bezel 3/4" should be quite ok.
Can't think of any thin bezel model to recommend locally.

nevermind, just write down those thin bezel monitors that are not available locally, I don't mind shipping them over here.

any Dell Professional or Ultrasharp users here? wanna find out the thickness of the monitor bezel.
best if both monitors come together, the bezel width must not be fatter than 1cm. Possible?

Ultrasharp should come with ~1.5 cm bezel. Two monitors side by side should bring you 3 cm width.

i'm using a U2311H,the bezel's 1.7CM thick
most computer LCDs that i've seen have around the same thickness
