If you click on the application requirement for Visa Signature in the EON Bank website, existing other bank cardholder
for at least one year with a minimum CREDIT LINE of RM40,000 and a copy of the other bank credit card front and back.
That mean, the minimum credit limit for the Visa Signature is only RM40,000. Very low. Even my Amex Gold Credit Card credit limit is much higher that that. What sort of Visa Signature is that ? A  "beyond Platinum " status with a Gold credit card limit ?  hmm.gif

That is the minimum bro.

If you want to say about dirt cheap CL, SCB Platinum has a CL of as low as RM 3k for fresh graduates.

I heard of RM 2k CL before for classic card. But for Plat, the lowest I heard is with RM 3k & is from the bank I mentioned earlier.

Mind you the credit limit of Standard Chartered Priority Banking VISA Infinite, which is a class higher than EON Bank VISA Signature also starts around that figures.

You sure SCB VI giving such low CL? I doubt so as their VI customers had a chunk of money with their Priority Banking account.

For lowest CL for Platinum, I am not sure how much. But lowest figure I know from someone is RM 3k. RM 1k is really a joke, what is SCB thinking?

Are you referring to the Zing Touch & Go? If yes, it's a separate Touch & Go card where it's linked to your credit card (using auto debit feature).

Hi,
RM40,000 is the minimum CL. The maximum I think can be up to few hundred thousand.
MBB & Citibank Gold CC can be up to RM100,000 CL.
Amex Platinum Charge Card minimum spending limit is arround RM250,000 if I am not mistaken.
If you can show them the proof of your wealth or income, I think they can give you few hundred thousand CL without any hassle.

Please do not have the mentality that high CL is just useful for stacking debts. You shouldn't be stacking debts with cc in the first place.
High CL is very useful for frequent overseas business travelers. Are you aware what is the price of a hotel room in Japan, Europe (or even Taiwan), they can go for about RM1K or more per night. The Al-Burj in Dubai is a few thousands per night.

Then multiply that by the number of nights that you stay and your basic expenses such as food, etc -- don't you think you need the high CL?
Of course there are many reasons that you may need the high CL but certainly not to stack debts. If anyone is thinking that way then please do not use  cc.

Dear ... This card is a class above TRUE Platinum. If you want class then only those qualify can own. If everyone qualify then where got class already.

credit card= stacking debt, unless you are using debit card or you swipe 1 time then pay afterward

out of 10 people maybe only 1 or 2 are real businessman with those card

110% yes ! I couldn't be any more confident ! Even HSBC Premier MasterCard credit limit starts around that figures. There are a few Standard Chartered Bank Priority Banking customers lurking around in this very thread. Who knows better than the actual cardholder eh ? laugh.gif

The RM1000 credit limit given to a Platinum card i mentioned earlier is from UOB Bank. It is because the cardholder requested for it.

Yes. It was requested by the cardholder himself. I believe you too have read his posts about this several versions back smile.gif

No way SCB will give a starting CL of RM 1k to the VI holder unless the Priority Banking customer requested for it. I have an immediate family member using the SCB VI.

And one more thing, your immediate family member has the SCB PB VI but there too are actual SCB PB VI cardholders posting in this very thread !

No. Certain merchants however only accept payment by credit/debit cards only if the total sum to be paid is at least RM50). Just an example lah.
