yes right. as i said, calcium OD is almost unheard of.

most new keepers give out too much vitamin. the worst case is combining uvb light with D3 supplement - surefire OD.

( what humble little experience... if your experience is little, ours are miniscule )
i heard about that. sorry for the loss haven't tested exoterra's supplement, haven't even checked them out as they are relatively new.

many  keepers swear by repcal.

(note : if your turtles bask alot under sunlight, opt for supplements without D3)

If not mistaken, it's May 26th. But have yet to hear anything. Could be just another "gertak"...which they are very good at. Just my RM0.02

i am thinking about buying an angonoka around 4-5 cm. i tried searching the internet but not much infos on care and also habitat. i understand there is some forum in mandarin but i cant read mandarin. hope someone here can guide me. lastly, is angonoka fairly easy compare to star and leopard? thanks

u know that grass rite??..some people sell it for healthy juice or something like that...

Anyone know if someone already successfully applied for Permit to Keep Star Tortoise? I mean for private keepers who bought online.

Based on INTESA, Cuora Amboinensis is in AppendixII also!!
Means I have to apply permit also...??!! Sad  lar..tmrw gonna call to double check.
Looking at the list , it covers a lot of the exotic turtles species sold during last few years. Means a lot of people will be affected.

So, the grace period given may be safe to apply??
Perhilitan could not confirm to me that applicants will be safe..there goes my confidence.

Hey bros, any updates on the wildlife 28th June thingy? It's declare first but no guarantee of getting approval for a licence it seems.

No news so far & date approaching. Pls share any experience...thanks!

I can verify that State Directors, who are supposed to issue the special permission letter, do not have any clear directives from the Ministry of Natural Resources. So far, they do not know what to do upon receiving applications (format of the letter, etc)

As for the animals, they will be examined before any special permissions are issued (husbandry, conditions, etc). And strictly for private keepers, not traders. What's allowed and what's not allowed eludes me, except the fact that everything that falls under Act 76 and Act 317 won't be issued any letter as they are bound to the age old rules.

Sam, do you have the news clippings/links to said news? I saw the confiscation thingy yesterday but am not aware that Indian Star , Radiated , Angonoka will be confiscated upon declaration NO LICENSE will be issued !!. thanks.
