Now still monitoring the UniFi users :-). Maybe u will get around up to 500GB per month or maybe 1500GB per month. I said this hard limit nobody can hit for Home Users and it's fair. It's too differentiate between VIP and BiZ package. There's no such unlimited bandwidth for VIP Packages for sure.

However i do also give them the comparison of our fibre ISP pricing, compare to other country to the person who decide the pricing.

If u don't want the bandwidth CAP feel free take the Biz Package . TMCorp inform me that Residential can take the Biz Package but Biz User ( Shop Address ) cannot take residential package. I don't do much IPTV since i own Astro Beyond . This already confirm by their Product and Sales Guy :-) from TM . He sit next to me during the twtup sessions. No breach on contract also if u upgrade from Streamyx to UniFi

Why not offer VIP package without cap for a slightly higher price than normal cap VIP package? Is it that hard to design a system to differentiate cap and non-cap VIP users? I know they suck at managing 4Mbps user (sudden 2Mbps cap without warning?) but this is silly. So they're telling me if I dont want any cap, then i'd have to subscribe to BIZ package which lets face it, makes no sense?

I'm not saying I hate bandwidth cap but is it really that hard to make a cap and non-cap VIP packages? Anyways other issue is the price which I think they don't even need to discuss because lets face it, they can just go to any ISP website and check the price, its WAY CHEAPER than the crap TM is offering. Any 10 year old kid who can do simple math can figure out TM's pricing is ridiculous. I know the service is new but after all that crap about "premium service at non premium price" and all we get is an expensive service with "no cap 4 now", really TM?

Oh well lets just see how it goes. TM really living up to their "best effort" service standard already.

so,that means from unicoolpack can straight upgrade to unifi without any penalty since can switch over?

wondering if it is available over at ss2 here. kinda sick of my 1Mbps which only operates on 400kbps and shared with 3 other persons.

anyone experienced a drop in speed since they first subscribe? i did! now i can't stream southparkvideos anymore....sigh! last time when i first subscribed unifi my southpark streaming was in HD quality because the speed permits it to go into HD mode. now it's the lowest quality and it still pauses and loads frequently sad.gif
thankyou

I think anything between 200 - 300GB cap/m is reasonable... to maintain a good quality speed...

i agree to that as well..and maybe it should be throttled to 25% speed or 50% speed instead of 1M...to be fair to users that pay more for higher speed as well

i guess you are on 11. Try changing your wifi channel to 9 or 3. May reduce the interference.

it all depends on the server. some server is slow that makes it laggy. sometimes its your connection, mostly europe servers got 300ms+ ping.
