Thanks .. guess couldn't do anything for now other than waiting for the news. Are they going to contact us who've registered our interest individually first or this will be first come first serve to their tm-point?

i guess you are on 11. Try changing your wifi channel to 9 or 3. May reduce the interference.

Thanks. I will try it.

yeah, the black cables will contain fiber optics, putting black cables is on 2nd day and for 3rd day, you will see they insert blue fiber optics cable into the black cable.

Very good news indeed.Didn't really see them put in the fiber optic cable cuz just cruising by.

Now just waiting for them to continue laying and put up the fiber box.I still think rm150 is a bit expensive though...

Yeah, they told me too about 60gb is just a temporary on the website, maybe they will give 120gb or more. But about this one

TM will enforced some sort of throttling ( decreased of speed ) if VIP Home packages exceed the FUP. However the Top Management doesn't decide what speed if u get ( This is not final yet )

whatever it is.. for 5/10/20Mbps package ke...mana boleh simply decreased the speed. sure kena saman la nanti. this is not streamyx package using sharing connection..this is fibre optic. u get what you pay for.. mine now using VIP10 package, dapat 9xxxKB/s local connection pun dah cantik(if diorg decreased the speed suddenly dpt 2xxxKB/s locally mmg nak kenalah). international uplink still depends on the site. some site very fast, some are not.

I dont mind if they still give the connection(decreased of speed) if my usage over the bandwidth limit, I just scared after a month..they still throttling my bandwidth forever lol . bukan boleh percaya TM ni..hihi

QUOTE(MX510 @ May 14 2010, 07:51 AM)
During the session yesterday we manage to sort a few things out during the discussion with TM Corp Top Management.

TM is currently monitoring the Current UniFi users type of usage and behavior, that's why P2P is not blocked at this moment.

They will see and turn on the Fair Usage Policy on what kind of amount of bandwidth for Home users would be. I said to them that 60GB is insufficient for Home VIP packages.

Home users can take Biz Package if they don't want to apply the FUP but Biz Package cannot take the home package. Biz package doesn't contain IPTV

More channels will be added to IPTV soon. Astro has secured the exclusive right for their HD Channel so not sure how they counter this.

TM will enforced some sort of throttling ( decreased of speed ) if VIP Home packages exceed the FUP. However the Top Management doesn't decide what speed if u get ( This is not final yet )

May be you can follow this, as suggested by Rizvanrp. I managed to obtain the WAN ip address using his method, but only can surf gmail and www.blogger.com. Other websites like loading forever/cannot even surf. Hopefully any Sifu can help me here. Thanks.

Ya lorr.. later u guys always DC, came back and barking at TM. I believe in quota system, but practical one lah.. I do agree that 60GB is insufficient, but unlimited is not realistic at all.

Sorry to hear that, sounds like an isolated case. Better call their tech support.

Really happy with mine so far. rclxms.gif
