usj 16 too, yesterday they get underground near my house. they pull the long cables. just wait for them to pull to the poles, wait next month, and me and my father will go subscribe. icon_rolleyes.gif

Do Torrents work with UniFi? This is my first experience with TM's internet service. I never used TM (for internet) befor.e
*
yes, if you look on the first page, there's even videos of unifi users showing off their speed.

and when i played mw2 just now laggy. damn weird. maybe the system corrected itself or something.
*
it all depends on the server. some server is slow that makes it laggy. sometimes its your connection, mostly europe servers got 300ms+ ping.

Spotted tm contractors(written on their backs) at taman overseas union.Saw huge black cables on the lorry.Should be fiber optic right?
*
yeah, the black cables will contain fiber optics, putting black cables is on 2nd day and for 3rd day, you will see they insert blue fiber optics cable into the black cable.

I did survey/google about fiber optic package that other country ISP provide & to my surprise, mostly max speed at 20Mbps also.
*
yeah, mostly countries with the same level of economy with malaysia but they already start to move to 100MBPS.

and one more, when will subang jaya covered with Unifi and available to subscribe?

Hi guys, I am interested to apply for the Unifi, but not sure which package to go for.
I would like to get the 10Mbps package but i have a question, is there a different on speed to overseas server (other than local Malaysia Based server) with the 5Mbps package ? I remember i read somewhere that the speed to overseas server range from a few hundred KB to around 2 Mbps only, if that is the case then subscribing to the 10Mbps seems to be not so worth it, since the faster speed is only for connection to local server. I also remember reading somewhere on this topic that Unifi is giving 1 month free, is it true ? Thanks in advance.

*
10Mbps (megabits) is around 1.25MBPS (megabytes). TM use megabits while unifi users use megabytes during download etc. please dont get confused. tongue.gif

Haha of course I won't but it makes me wonder why we have to pay so much for 5/10/20mbps when the system allows for 100mbps. I didn't even *want* to uncap my line but when I was reconfiguring my router I just realized that it would work. I'm sure they are at least partially aware of it?
*
"configuring router"? brows.gif later when i subscribe i'll pm you brows.gif
