after all i dont have a tablet to draw on my pc.. and this just come in handy.. hehehe

Can u try call that AP company maybe they have other outlets near u by any chance furthermore u are the first that have LCD problem so u might share with us the repair cost of the LCD

Hello there guys im eying into getting a N900 for myself. but before that i need to check few things with you guys.

I heard that N900 doesn't support
1)MMS
2)3G calls.
3)FM Radio.

i tried checking out the nokia website and i di some internet searches, all the replies and the answers were confusing.

so i thought i better check it out with you guys. Can someone pls clarify this.

Don't worry, these are all software issues and can be fixed easily, just a matter of when?

Another great thing is open source and openness of this phone. The community can easy develop app for this phone to support whatever missing in this phone in terms of software until Nokia official provide it in their OS.

Example: MMS, because current version does not support MMS, the community has develop a software for it and it's called fMMS. Currently it's already in version 1, stable version.

anyone here keep having wifi problem? == i think keep happen to me.. connected but server not found on mircob or firefox

Not sure, I have been using it for 3 weeks now and never gotten that problem

it happen to me only my phone goes into power saving mode (screen off)....once u on back the phone, i need to disconnect the wifi connection then re-enable again...

Are you guys using anything?

In my office WIFI is on WPA-PSK and Home is WEP, both work flawlessly, not really any problems.

Might be some widgets/apps interfering/conflict

i suspect my home wifi coverage is not strong enough....wifi router at 1st floor, i always stay at ground floor playing my n900 and watch tv

U can always get a wireless N router the range is further

it also effect the location u put your router. Imagine u put in living room and u are in 1st floor kitchen above toilet . Then no signal.

my office got 3 wifi... ermmm, got G and N also... just dunno why it become like tat. it connect, but no server ==

but other phone seem work ok

I find the n900 Wifi receiver is quote good/strong. So far have no problems compared to other device, better than all other phones I have, even better than my old laptop.

The "i" on the other hand, have very bad/poor receiver, keep getting weak signal or no bar.

Only affect certain Access Point, not sure why.
