yes, some place near my house got Samurai spray can..

hi guys..
 can all of you comment on my SD RX-75 GUNTANK that i recently paint??  one thing though, i weathered the tayar a bit exccesive la...  .. this is my first time weathering.. better start off with a smaller kit (my opinion la) haha..

^hey, not bad..

Hi,
I bought Krylon white gloss primer (for plastic) and Krylon Gloss White sprays from ACE HARDWARE. Unfortunately after applying and leaving for a week to cure, I still cannot get that insane white gloss. Is there something I need to apply? One more thing i noticed is that there will be an embedded line on the painted surface if my fingernails run through it. Why is this result? |

As for the weathering, weathering can be fun yet it'll make you over done it. So always keep in mind when you do weathering... The kit of the size, will the weathering paint(example: sand) look too big on this kit.. Try to make it minimal, you can see it yet cannot see it  Get what i mean?Keep up the work..  |

But when I accidentally hit the part to the side of the table, it leaves a embedded lining, no paint chipping though.The original plastic is soft ABS. I did lightly sand the surface and clean it with spirit to remove any oil stains. Subsequently I applied two layers of Krylon "Plastic Fusion" white gloss Primer. Left it for an hour under hot sun to dry. Then I sprayed two layers of Krylon White Gloss, afterwhich I left it to dy and cure for a whole week. Now I am considering using enamel proxy white which I heard would harden like a ceramic surface...is this right? |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « It seems like you've over sprayed it, so when the paint dried it turns into rubbery effect. I suggest u make some testing first. Get some plastic spoon and try the paint on that (primer and white gloss) but this time just apply thin layer and see what happen. |
