wow, mr color as in thinner based ones or water based ones?

that's some pretty steady hands u got there.

thinner based ones. water based are acrylics. i used a 12 color no name brand for those instead..

tools used? erm.. basically just thinner, retarder, alligator clips tongue.gif and also brushes i used? el cheapo rm 2 brushes which you can easily find in popular. i prefer to use the pointy brushes instead of the flat head ones.. size ranges between 0-2 for detail work, and 6 for wider areas. setup? no real set up woh.. just a normal palette which you find in bookstores, and brushes you find in popular..

handpainting is not as difficult as you believe it to be.. lots of practice, and you'll be on your way smile.gif

there are a few types of putty, but basic putty is essentially used for filling holes, and also used to add texture to parts..

other types like poly putty and epoxy putty are more suitable for scratch building and sculpting

you can try look at mgs2u for either epoxy putty, or poly putty. don't remember the pricing already... not cheap tho if i remember correctly..

p/s. epoxy putty is a very hard putty.. will require you to sand alot to get to desired shape. if you are the type who hates sanding their kit, then i'd say you'll hate sanding epoxy..
