posted in other thread...but babyelf, can u share with us how did u burn ur vx value to get such good result...i know that diff ram will produce diff result...just share je la...i've heard about the uwhackme's method...but didnt find how it was done...
ocz recommended users to burn in 3.2v 2-2-2-5 200mhz for 48 hours.. i didn't do that.. i went straight to 3.3v 220mhz 1.5-2-2-6 and started burning in for about 10 hours..then i had subsequent burn ins.. total about 40+ hours?
haven't really burn them in yet.. 48 hours not really enough.. will continue burning them in..
but yea... what u do is u burn in at a speed u know it'll do just fine.. no errors or so for about 20-30min then let it continue.. for about 10 hours at least when u sleep.. then start pushing it up.... about 10mhz increase and burn in.. then 10 then burn in.. until u hit a wall then increase by 3-5mhz then burn in ..
then when u get ur the max u can get with desired voltage.. then change a different bios and test same configuration and see whether u can go higher..
310 gave me the best compability and overclock.. so i'm going back to 310 now and test my value vx..
my bh-5 can do more than 270 with 310.. but 331-2 won't even let me do higher than 266 3.6v
so yea.. going back to 310 and get the 8k sandra bandwidth later
