i heard that older venice 3000+ batch like 0505 - 0507 require higher v-core to get 2.8ghz, say 1.6-1.65V.

while the newer 3000+ batch after 0517 do not require as high v-core ??

I'm with the newer 0517 batch with 1.55v @ 2.8ghz.

wat say u masters ??

very early ones can hit high clocks with low volts

the ones between 08 to 16 needs more vcore..

now they're back to low volts again..

oh, why do they always have to go mess with the vcore thing ??
k ... i'm so new to AMD cpus ...

Thanks dude blush.gif

Testing winxp64 at the moment, found out something interesting just now. Sandra cpu benchmark did 12400 ALU in winxp64 from 11856 in winxp at the same clock speed.

Drawbacks of the x64, the corecenter is not working and so does CBidentifier. Not to mention other types of programs. This basic tools is very important to monitor oc. Guys if you have solutions for this, please share. Everything runs smoother and a lot better than winxp 32. But I still advice you to stay on winxp 32 as most of the program fail to even execute.
