Guys I feel that after I update to 2.2,my nexus is abit laggier..even the screen response is also very bad..not accurate at all..do u think I can downgrade back to 2.1?
*
u can.
just flash it back to 2.1 using recovery.
there is one problem la, cos froyo update the radio also,
so when u change back to 2.1 u may face some problem on video record, youtube play, video play.
therefore u need to flash back yr radio to old version as well.

for my case i updated to froyo, after few day i decided to flash back to CM5.0.7.
because the radio issue, i cannot play youtube video, cannot watch video, cannot record video.
spent few days reading and google-ing around, found out the radio for froyo not match with CM.
flash back old radio, all work fine.

waiting for official froyo to release,
or maybe official CM version of froyo, then only i will update.

1. Charge your phone at least for 4 hours first. This is to calibrate the battery.

2. No need to unroot the phone first. Can install apps without unroot. Unroot is done for 'advanced stuff', which you may not need right now.

3. Getting new apps is done by browsing the Market on your phone.

Congrats and happy playing with your new super phone!

1. I believe in off condition

2. I don't know about must have apps, it varies according to your preferences.

SMS - try handcent sms or chomp sms
media - tunewiki, shazam, meridian
twitter - twidroid, twicca, seesmic
facebook app
google sky
don't know much about games
ringdroid (edit songs to become ringtone)
3banana notes
astrid
ASTRO file manager
appbrain
barcode scanner
opera browser
layar
meebo IM
others can add some more.

Try googling for top 10 android apps. there are lots of blogs writing about must haves app.

3. You need to be online to access market. You can be over wifi or on data plan. offline app installation is possible though. Try google for ".apk" file of the app. Put the apk file onto your sd card and open it to install.

4. I am a noobie too biggrin.gif

Don't think so - both my Gmail and other emails accounts I get the mails push to me whether in WiFi or non-Wifi mode. I have also set Yahoo as another account to recieve my Gmails - I do note that Yahoo push the mail over first and is faster than Gmail itself

"this forum is android native! click ok to learn more about tapatalk" something like that and there are only 2 options, "ok" and "cancel" and when i press either, it will bring me to some error page and i know the forum is up cause i tested with my pc...

i tried tapatalk and i didn't like it, i want to continue browsing forums with my opera mini, how do i do so?

Not sure if I understand correctly, but are you trying to connect your N1 to your laptop via wifi, so that your N1 can get internet connection via your laptop's connection (thru lan cable, USB broandband, etc)?
