I am using CM 5.0.6 as well with Pershoot Kernel 2.6.33.2 – OC-UV-XTRA-BTN-AUD-RAM-NEON_FP (1.13GHZ) – Nexus.

Never face any reboot or calling issue.

Thanks lek_e30 for opening v2 thread of Nexus One.

My suggestion:
- Put in v2 in header.
- Bold the Title
- Added in the Nexus One beauty picture on top.
- A link to previous v1 thread.

Welcome and thanks I think I wrote something make misunderstand. Ops! I mean bold those important header. For example: Boot and Homescreen, 3G and Wifi connectivity, Multitasking and etc...

Actually I don't know what is NEON and VFPV3.

Has been report it seems the current kernel better than previous one. Going to try it now

Added on April 18, 2010, 4:54 pmJust flash over this new kernel which base in vfpv3. This vfpv3 is rock!

I can 100% sure they is no more lagging issue at all during playing asphalt 5 as I always notice they is slighly lag in 1st level when your car near the big boat. Now it all gone smooth without any lag.

Xtra - More cgroup options (debug disabled), v4 block device + data integrity support, namespaces support (excluding network), 3d register driver, 3 erratas applied, deadline i/o scheduler.

I don't ready know what it means, but it give me better fluid performance, most user also given better opinion on xtra, that the reason I try it and I like it.

In my opinion, Desire Camera is cool with extra feature but those extra feature I found out some not ready work.

The touch to focus supposely focus the part you touch and it seems correct when using it but in reality the output is not ready, it seems focusing everything not the part we touch.

The macro mode is definately worst than stock Nexus One, you can't ready shoot closer object when using Desire Camera mode. The bad macro mode is one of the reason touch to focus not ready workout.

Face recognition is just fun but useless for me.

The flash sometimes work sometimes not.

Apps that shoot and attached not working at all, example google buzz and etc. You can straight shoot but can't attached it.

Now left the only thing is support wide mode, this is cool and I do hope it integrate with Stock Camera. This the only feature I found it ready work and usefull.

Due to above all issues, I see no point using the Desire Camera Mod.

Some more the new Anti Banding in CM 5.0.6 is working as it is, this feature is damn cool and useful when you shoot light object, example lamp.

You need to install ROM that support. Since if you planning to root, why not try custom rom?

Open back your original Messaging.

Goto Settings.

Scroll down and untick Notifications.

This will prevent your SMS notified you twice. (One from original Messaging, another from handcent SMS)

I also facing this problem, most likely the pouch issue.

Because you using the epikcase, that why you won't face such issue.

Yalo, Same as yours.

For original Nexus SMS, you need to type the name and it will appear if only you set the contact number as mobile.

What he means is .....

the number pad got ABC right.

Example His name "Faiz" means you key as 3249.

Why is 3249? Because

3 = def
2 = abc
4 = ghi
9 = wxyz

** If you still not understand, then I don't know how to describe already. Hehe....

Below is the way to SMS if direct from contact.
- Click the Android face / the photo you put as contact, and it will pop up few option for you to choose, example call, sms, mail, and etc depends on how you set the contact.

I try extremely hard clean it up using any matter I can, but end up, it not clean up any part of it as well.

I bored let it be, and after few days (not sure how long, it is less than a week) the dirt part drop of by itself. hmmm...

HTC has informed me before Nexus One no service at Malaysia.

During I send for servicing-remember I brick it? hehe...Ops!, HTC Singapore also return me the battery cover and refuse to take it.

They change for me the board in 2nd day and send back on same day, weird why it needs 3 days for just a casing.

Hmmmm........... are they actually change a new one for you, or they open up and just cleaning it for you.

I suggest you play it for at least a week, read read here here and there there before starting it.

Current stable ROM: Cyanogen 5.0.6-N1 (before installing this, you need to install RA-Recovery 1st, so go read read 1st most famous forum is important, and be patient and read carefully if flashing Radio-not neccessary, as only flashing radio can brick the phone if not doing it correctly.)

If using Cyanogen, I suggest you use the Apps2SD, with it you can install plenty of Apps, without it, sorry la.... You need to create SD-Ext for Apps2SD which means it will clean up-formatted your SDcard.

For contact, as long as you sync with Google, it shall be ok, it will re-sync back after you rooting, install the new ROM and connect.

Others will lose when rooting the phone as it wll reformat to factory default.
